23:46 Are you ready to this day, still stands as such an incredible live album, love and miss Ronnie Hammond and the rest of the ARS, their music lives on forever. Rip ARS
Atlanta is my home and I can't begin to tell you how much of a musical inspiration these Gentlemen have been to me .all I can say is a heartfelt thank you. Your hard work and dreams meant the world to me.
Took me 27 years to see mthe best voice in Southern Rock. Saw him at The Big House in Macon, GA promoting Buckeye. He did 4 songs and I got it on video and was able to tell him GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR MUSIC we needed those songs and LOVE them sooo much. He passed about 6 months later. GRATEFUL BUT HEARTBROKEN. GOD BLESS ARS. Took 25 years to see ARS at Angel City bike rally, GA. Met Dean Daugherty, best keyboardist. They ROCKED that rally.
Why did it take me so long to find this? It may be the best thing I have ever watched. Worth watching just to hear Barry Bailey talk; sounds like what he was, a Georgia boy who turned out to be a guitar genius. RIP Barry. MS so often goes after the best and brightest.
These guys laid down the soundtrack of my life back in the 70's. Now all these years later I look back at that time and smile. It was a great time to be alive and I miss it so.
I use to be friends with Tommy dribbling Stribbling, in Louisville ky, he was with ARS from 1983 to 1993. we played together for 5 years from 1999 to 2004. He use to tell me he was way better lead guitarist than Barry Bailey. HAHAHAHA, when he commented one to many times that, I left the friendship..Tommy was good. But his EGO was violent. Barry is, and always will be Tha Man when it comes to class. Professionalism, guitarist. And performer, as well as great guy..rip.barry
I'm from Fort Wayne. Probably around 1975 or 1976 the college I went to in fort Wayne Hired ARS to come up north and play a concert for us. I remember them getting on stage and announcing that this was their first concert up north . It was a fun night!
I was fortunate to see ARS open for the Stones in Buffalo, NY, on the 4th of July in 77 or 78ish. Journey was also on the bill... and a 4th band. Great gig!! Always loved these guys. My band is adding Spooky in 2023. Looking forward to it! 😎🎹🎸👍
Thanks for sharing. As ARS was rehearsing for that show. Mick and Keith came out and watched them do about 3 or 4 songs. Ronnie told me how he felt star struck, intimidated and honored they would take the time. Most performers don’t watch each others shows, or even talk to eachother.
If anyone is able to possibly tell me which live version of Imaginary Lover is used in this video in the background, I will forever be in your debt! Ronnie’s vocals and Dean’s piano both blended soooo perfectly!!
At times it is a little hard to differentiate the interview track from the background track, but it's all about the music anyway! Love these soft-spoken southern gentlemen and the great music they created and performed live!

Ronnie Hammond was a Great Singer. RIP "Ronnie Hammond" It was a pleasure to meet you sir.
My former girlfriend toured with Ronnie on the Voices of Classic Rock Tour. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met. True Southern Gentleman
Good piece. Thanks for the post. This is the first and only time I have ever heard Barry Bailey speak.

Great Music History of the times I lived in during this era. Loved it. Scott at Big J Report..
One of my very favorites. You can recognize Ronnie's voice anyway you hear it. Like his fingerprint or signature, no one else can replicate.

Shame the music is too high to comfortably hear or understand the narrative!!!
No problems here.

No problems here, either. All good.
