They did a song in recent years called Under Your Scars. Probably not the most popular of their songs but his vocals are pristine. It's a really good song.
How can you not love Godsmack just for this alone? I saw them many years ago in an amazing show that was general admission and we "forged" our way literally and physically to the very front row when they did the drum battle with Sully and the Godsmack drummer. Awesome show I'll never forget because Staind opened up and it was GREAT.
I grew up with a life of music coming from a musically inclined family and eventually being the lead singer in a band. Music truly is magical and all children should grow up experiencing that magic,So it's very sad that many schools are cutting their music programs because of budget cuts. I can't imagine a life without music.
There's a short documentary on the reason and planning of this video. Sully supports many music programs for kids and still lives in the ity he grew up in. Also the song about scars mentioned in another comment was written by sully and his close personal friend Lady gaga. It's a beautiful song as well.
Im from Massachusetts and i saw them in the late 90's when they played at Great Woods here. Open air stadium close to there home town. They put on an amazing show. The drum duel is sick!!
WOW! I have not heard anything from Godsmack in a long time.... I didn't even know they had a new album out. I used to listen to them back when they first came out back in 1995 all the way up to 2018 then I just stopped listening to them... actually i stopped listening to pretty much everything that was American, in English any group that I used to listen to and/or like I stopped listening to completely by the end of 2019 and I noticed that Godsmack is the only one who is still active and releasing new music and omg they still sound as awesome as ever!! So definitely going to get back into them and start checking out their new songs ❤️
Great reaction. I appreciate the fact that you are always able to acknowledge the talents of others. I know you have your own band and create your own music, and I know there are people who are amazed by your talents as well. So, it's nice to see your humble attitude in a world where that isn't always the case. Godsmack is one of my favorite bands too, so maybe I'm a little biased. Check out Under Your Scars if you haven't already.
You gotta see the making of the video. It got my blood flowing. Godsmack is a great band

A good song on its own but cringe for GS
@@LN-Lifer I agree. Definitely not what we are used to hearing from them. The song has a great message and his voice is still awesome!

voice is fantastic
It's about Sully's relationship with Lady Gaga and it's not "cringe" as someone else commented. Sully has no issues talking about it
@LN-Lifer why? Bc it's about his relationship with Lady Gaga? He has no issues, why do you?

Those kids will remember this for the rest of their lives. It is fucking beautiful, and dare I say it, unforgettable

Imagine a world class band like Godsmack coming to your local high school to teach and instruct the students. Inspirational is an understatement.

Not gonna sugarcoat this...LP, Disturbed and Godsmack are a big reason why i am on this side of the dirt and survived my teenage years.
First was School Of Rock with Jack Black but now we have School Of Rock with GodSmack, Let's Go!!!
This is incredible! If you love music, how can you not love this video and song?
This got me emotional 😭 so beautiful ❤️
