It's not unique, as this type of service is available worldwide. However, it appears to be a very affordable(free 😂) and convenient way to get items from the store compared to the services available in the U.S., where you're charged for delivery and expected to tip (I always tip because I feel bad if I don't).
I've never seen a type of delivery service where you can get a single piece of bread, or 30 pesos of cilantro o 1/4 pound of cheese in a matter of 10 mins
I visit three times a year for decades. A local colmado is absolutely necessary. Please everyone tip these guys. They work very hard
Yes they do!
This is so interesting and hilarious at the same time - thanks for this interesting insight into Dominican way of life
Lol thanks! So glad you enjoyed!
Thanks!
Thank YOU so much!!
Yes, yes, yes
When I am in the DR I have to use them a few times. Very vital. Texas
Exactly!
Que falta me hace mi colmado. Aqui en Florida uno no puede pedir una funda de hielo sin pagar el triple por el delivery en doordash.
Así mismo es😞
