I don't know if it's just me but I really have no clue how to write for mallets especially in trailers. It's the only instrument that I fail to use. I mean it's a very happy instrument usually used in happy/animation scores or disney and not sure if it has a place in that massive epic soundtracks or trailers. But good work in this demo Alex :)
Haha, totally hear you. I think Mallets wouldn't be the right choice for trailer music, unless it is more underscore focused stuff ... but it works well for documentaries, movie score and video games in general.
