Get your extra bag of popcorn ready for almost an hour long of Florsheim Shoe restoration video. Lots if details with these shoes, I thought I would never get done😂😂.
Steve, that’s such a kind thing to do, donating your time and materials to a customer. That generosity and compassion is what separates you from your competition but it also is what makes US, your viewers, keep coming back for more!!! Thank you for conducting yourself like a true gentleman!!!
Steve, your kindness and craftsmanship never cease to amaze me. Your gesture of rebuilding my vintage Florsheim shoes as a gift during a challenging time speaks volumes about the depth of your character and generosity. Thank you for not only restoring a pair of shoes but also restoring hope and faith in humanity. Your selflessness is truly inspiring, and I am forever grateful for your extraordinary act of kindness. Here's to walking forward with gratitude and dignity, knowing that there are incredible souls like you in this world. Thank you, Steve, from the bottom of my heart. Love you Bro!🥹❤
When I need to step away from the insanity of this world we live in, I come here. There is something about honest good craftsmanship that puts my soul at peace. Alright, let's get started.
The amount of creativity you put into the sole of the shoes never ceases to amaze me! And I love what you are doing for the Australia guy, can't believe he's been so patient, he deserves your gift! Hope he sends a reaction video!
You really jazzed up some of those Florsheim's! A tribute to your artistry. And as always with you, the best is at the end. You offered a nice gift to the fellow in Australia. A tribute to your generosity and integrity.
A lot of people can learn from your admirable compassion & superior work ethic. I definitely believe kindness cimes back to us 10 fold. The Australian should be elated by your generosity, even if it took 2 yrs. Which wasnt any fault of yours.
Love a good Florsheim video, my dad was a Florsheim man, I don't think he ever owned a pair of sneakers, just a pair of leather sandals for the beach. Those blue shoes with the natural welt really pop, love those. Nice gesture with the Aussie customer and the hybrids that sat on the shelf btw.

Steve, amazing gift, may you be blessed 10 fold, I am sure the gentleman from Australia is very happy. I’ve watched your video twice and the work is exceptional. I own the blue pair and the Simpson-Sears, they came out great, can’t wait to see them in person, thank you Steve.
Another masterful job by "The Master", Steveroo...! And very nice on those Wing Tips for the customer in Australia.... You're a good man Steve...! Loved it!...Greg
*Steve, can you repair a pair of leather sneakers sometime? It would be pretty neat to see that! I think you have in the past, it's been a long time. I love your work! Thanks for an amazing video full of shoes! 😊 I also enjoy that you do other things besides shoes like bags, cases, and coats, and jackets! Keep it going!*
This video got my Sunday off to a fine start. Sunday worship service makes my entire week good, but you have made this Sunday even better. It is a joy to hear your voice as you do what you have been blessed to do so well.
As usual outstanding workmanship and a total class act which one of us has not fell on bad times loverly act from a classy operator Kind Regards from Liverpool England
Great work Steve Florsheims are nice quality well made shoes sometimes the lucky ones get to visit Bedo’s and get a makeover/repair back to better than new condition ❤ Also the shoes your gifting to the guy in Australia that is a touch of class and quality customer relations from you and your business god bless you 👍
i forgot to mention your bird friends , crows and ravens are members of the corvid family and are highly intelligent . i talk to them when i see them .
Beautiful work man as always and a very kind act at the end. P.S. Each of those shoes deserves a separate video! Would love to watch all the details but I had to skip in this one.
Bedo's I mis you.Welcome back yes. I just can't see the repairs on jackets and lady's pocket books😂 Give me the shoes and boots repairs. I'm planning a trip to Virginia just to bring you about 6 pairs of shoes for repairs. That's my excuse to come and visit and bring you some good coffee, very good coffee. Will be in touch.
Incredible work as usual! How did you take back the color for the blue pair so it didn't look so dark? I have that problem all the time in leatherworking!
Another outstand job my friend. I like the colors with the tan sols on some of them. I take it the stitching is unforgiving if you run off the mark and I really thing any customer of yours would be extremely happy with your product. You know this was coming 😂 How much was the Australin job if I may ask. Love watching your channel, Gee from Richmond.
Always learning from you and always happy to see a new video. Just wandering..... what happend to your wedding ring?? Have noticed its gone for i think a year now. Thanx for teaching us.
my 2 cents worth, the Mocs outstanding loved the look. On the Oxfords , to me the soles & heels look thicker than the original. I personally don't care for the rubber soles on dress shoes, it's not a good look. The blue rubber soled one are just hideous. but I did appreciate the Smiley Face on the heels.
Hi Steve, question please, Is there any good in using a synthetic midsole (they call it micro rubber midsole) for a dress shoes? Or all leather is preferable? I'm referring to a pair from J crew made by Alfred Sargent (double monk strap)
i'd like that done to a pair of well made loafers i'veowned and worn for 58 years, not made smaller but done new again new vamp maybe new binding , mine are also leather lined . maybe get a small loan on my life insurance to get it done , just and old disabled vet wore these shoes when i reported to fort dix in 1969 as a young 17 year old pvt. my grand parents bought these shoes when i was 14 years old i'm now 72 , they mean an awfull lot to me
Steve, does masters cement work similarly to barge cement? I use barge at the moment but considering moving to a different product. It dries up so quickly in the can and gets super thick, it becomes quite annoying.
Steve, you are not only an excellent craftsman but also a kind soul. I know that your family & customers are very proud of you. I have always believed in paying it forward.
Steve you are a class act and, I absolutely love your remake videos. Your eye for detail and design appear to be second to none in my opinion! I used to work with a man in KCMO and his name was Lewis and we called him Lou-Lou pronounced Lo-Lo. Also just a suggestion… a souit ball works great with the special birds you want to keep around. Thanks for sharing your time and vision with us!!!

Do you prefer your homemade iron rangers over your Indy's?
Great video as always, Steve!

Most rubber mid soles are on outdoors boots and such

@@JinsKookieJams he talked about people putting thinner on the soles to release the glue
I’ve seen so many people do it, so it goes out to everyone. It’s just a waste of material. Just a thought.
Hey, man! You shorted us 15 "hammer Times"!
I want a refund! 😁😆😅🤣
To this day... every time I see a 5in1 machine.... I remember the squeak.
Do you remember the squeak.?
Yes I do
2nd!!!
Buongiorno maestro.
Awesome work like always! What’s your worst injury as a cobbler?
I cut my forearm about 4”
I'm in the middle of watching. I couldn't help but hear the birds. How cool is that for a work place.
It is so satisfying to watch a Master at work ❤❤❤
Crows like whole chicken eggs. Makes a good and nutritious treat for them, fun to watch too. They appreciate protein pieces more than seeds.
Steve, you are not only an excellent craftsman but also a kind soul. I know that your family & customers are very proud of you. I have always believed in paying it forward.
You are the best teacher, and craftsman. I love the blue shoes. Thanks so much Steve for sharing this great video. 👞
