I love Slovenia. It is not far from Austria. The caves there are breathtaking. Whether water caves or beautiful stalactite caves. There is something for everybody.

Hi Derek. Thanks for the video.
I visited Slovenia when it was Yugoslavia meet some wonderful people and visited some great caves. If you visit again try and get a trip down Krizna Jama. Excellent river passages which we used dinghies and a chamber full of cave bear remains. Keep filming.

Derek, could you take a review on your video equipment? Most interested in the light that you use for filming. I myself sometimes try to shoot in the caves, and the problem of high-quality lighting is very relevant!

Still working up to it. Not at all comfortable in front of the camera, but I don’t cringe as much now hearing my own voice.

Derek Bristol haha it takes time definitely. Your doing fine, definitely the caving version of Casey Neistat. Which I know is a big inspiration! I've said this a lot but I feel your channel is growing slower than it should, cuz your content is ace and I'm surprised by that its not grown faster, but its a time thing as you know. Does your stats show your first viewer to Sub conversion?

Next time you're in Eastern Europe don't miss Romania. The birthplace of biospeleology, home to the oldest speleological research institute in the world and with more than 14.000 caves (in a country the size of Minnesota).

Great! And thanks for the awesome videos. Just stumbled upon your channel two weeks ago and watched all the vids since then. Keep up the good work!
