Something that people noticed was how happy Husk looked during the final song because he thought Alastor was dead and he was free from his contract, but then went back to being annoyed when Alastor reappeared and he realized he was still under the contract.
Could be a good guess, bur we have to remember that Husk was an Overlord. He knows how deals work, and would've know if Alastor died. He was happy because he thpugh Alastor wouldn't appear for a long while.

The reason Lucifer shows up late is because even with the culling being focused on his daughter’s hotel, it was still the army of cannibal sinners and Charlie's "family" that were at risk, thus not violating the arrangement between Lucifer and Adam that no hellborn be harmed and/or killed during the Extermination. The moment Adam turned his attention to killing Charlie along with the rest of her army, that's the moment when Lucifer stepped in.
There's another way to see it as well. Didn't you notice that, before Adam threatened Charlie, Lute killed Dazzle, who was an Hellborn? By killing Dazzle, she broke the deal and allowed Lucifer to join the battle.

His soul is probably the purest as it can get when he died due to the time he lived, sinning's definition isn't as broad as it was then than it was now. Souls are a mortal's potential for both good and evil along with the power that comes from it (remember, if the soul is evil enough and they gather other souls to fuel their power the Sinners can become Overlords in Hell), so what happens when an immortal being is born with that potential? So Charlie is subconsciously and consciously holding back her own power. When she transformed into her Demon Form, that was her tapping into her Hellborn abilities, but apparently that wasn't enough to beat Adam. It was only when Lucifer was in danger that Charlie tapped into some more of her power that she managed to block Adam's attack. Hopefully we get to discover what that power is if and when the show gets its new seasons.
She has the potential to be the strongest being in existence in their universe. The only living creature that is Angel, Devil, and Human all in one. Her mother was an Human, and her Father was the strongest Angel who was cast down and became a THE Devil before her creation. Her power could potentially dwarf all others. She just doesn't like violence, so she never learned about her power. She is going to show wings at some point as well. She hasn't even hit that form yet. We, just like her, have only seen a taste of her power.
Where was she glowing? There was no glow aside from the red sparks from the transformation of her arm. Lucifer is the only one glowing (and Adam, until he got knocked out)
Also the glitching of Adam's mask was because he broke his end of the Deal with Lucifer about not hurting Hellborns and going at his daughter. It is also the reason Lucifer could not join in the fight until the dragon was slain

It took her dad being in danger for her to let go of her fear of who she is and tap into the power she has. And yet, she atill stayed true to herself offering him mercy. Lucifer absolutely toyed with Adam and roasted the hell out of him.
That fight was functionally over in two hits; one that broke the mask, the other that flattened Adam into the ground. The other few punches were just icing on the cake. THAT is how strong Lucifer is. He's as far above Adam as Adam would be above your average npc sinner. It's not even a contest.

Yeah, most of Angel's entire family is in Hell. Angel is part of the Italian mafia family and all of his family has spider features to represent exactly that. Both Lilith and Alistor had been missing for 7 years at the start of the series. And while Lilith stayed missing, Alistor just so happens to return, when Lilith' daughter needs help with her hotel. What a coincidence, isn't it? You can probably see, why the leading fan theory is that Lilith is the one holding Alistor's leash. Considering how powerful Alistor is, it would have to be someone really near the top of the food chain to have power over him, and Lilith certainly would fit the bill for that.
Actually, it doesn't need to be someone more powerful than Alastor to make a deal with him. Deals are absolute, once done, nothing can undo them. It would only need for Alastor to be in need of help for someone to put him on a leash. However, Lilith is without a doubt the biggest suspect as the one that owns Alastor's soul.
The theory fits the known facts, but I feel like it's entirely too easy. No... I think Alastor's deal is with Eve. You'll note that she's conspicuously absent, and when you consider that (in this canon) her accepting the apple is what caused Evil to come into existence, well... Eve is almost certainly the being that fans refer to as ROO, the Root of All Evil. But that's just my theory, and I can't wait to see what the truth is.

Oh man I can’t believe they killed Adam. He made this season, I can’t even imagine how they’re do season two without him it’s just not gonna feel the same. Oh well it looks like the Vees are gonna the main antagonists next season and I’m here for it, they’re easily the best characters right up there with Adam and Lute.
Couple personal theories: 1. Lucifer couldn't join the fight before Charlie got hurt. Calling back to previous mentions to how "Lucifer got them a deal from extermination". Once Adam punched Charlie, the terms of the deal would've been broken and now Lucifer is free to fight Adam directly. Lucifer made the deal to protect Charlie as he didn't care about anyone else in Hell. 2. Lilith too is in Heaven due to a similar deal. As mentioned in the first episode, it was Lilith that gathered a force to invade Heaven, which obviously went south. With the contract that Lucifer did with Heaven, it heavily restricted Lilith's ability to build up another powerbase, so to circumvent that she made a deal with Heaven that she would stay in Heaven where they can have her under continuous surveillance. However at the same time she made yet another deal with Alastor, granting him her powers and that contract might include a clause about protecting / aiding Charlie in building up a power base that Lilith wants to control by proxy. Meanwhile of course Alastor too has his own thoughts about how to use Charlie's power and might as he mentioned during the Ready for This song on episode 8 and further mentions the constrictions of his contract with someone. Eitherway, this would allow Lilith to try another assault on Heaven while seemingly just laying about. Also, as a last note; As a gay-gay homosexual and a certified pansexual, I have to say that IMO Charlie/Vaggie shares the BEST kiss in the Vivzie multiverse right now in this episode, which is perfect concidering the beginning of Pride Month just now.
The “More than Anything” song that everyone liked was not this one. This is actually just a reprise of it because the original was at the end of episode 5. It was Lucifer and Charlie singing More Than Anything when Lucifer was talking about his past and how he wanted to protect Charlie and was so happy to have her as his daughter.
Yeah, the V's are effing stupid on an epid level. Not only were all the cannibals there of their own free will with no one owing their souls but only one overlord died in the fight and that was Sir Pentious. As much as we love they guy, Pentious was incredibly weak and didn't own many souls. As for the line about Alistor, he was shown to be fully recovered and back at the hotel before the sun even came up so he hasn't gotten any weaker either.
Regarding Lilith’s deal… I think it was with Adam. Lute was telling her after Adam’s death that the deal was over, and basically offering her a new deal to replace it. Based on what I have read, I kinda expect the next season to air in the spring of next year.

It's absolutely gotta be that. It had been pointed out a few times I believe of the deal. He COULD NOT get involved until someone in the original deal got threatened with death. Notice it was very almost right after he said "it's time to die" he appeared.

That smile Adam gave Lute at the end made me sympathize with a realization about Adam. Adam has always been alone. First man means only man. No friends at all. No one cares about you. And when your first wife rejects you for Lucifer, and then your second wife takes in the apple from Lucifer, all Adam would have felt is the realization that he was unloved by anyone. That's why he feels the need to present himself as a big deal. So that he doesn't deal with the crippling realization that no one gives a damn about him. Yet when he died, Lute mourned him, so he realized, "Oh shit, someone actually gives a f*ck about me..."
Honestly they were really inconsistent with how durable the angels are cause falling debris of the hotel managed to crach the armor and cause Lute to bleed.
One thing you need to know, Vox and Valentino and Velvet can take the Overlords. Alastor is considered the Strongest, the rest are more reclusive and havent done much. Another thing you never noticed (i think) is Alastors Final song, hes trapped and wanting to get out of his deal. Which is most likely by Lilith.

There is a thing tho: if I started as a human, sinned so went hell reborn as a snake men, then managed to redeem myself, sacrificing myself for my friends, I would be a little bummed that I am up there as a freaking snake. Should have my human form. The characters in the show are threated/portayed like not caring about their previous, human lifes at all, like it did not even exist, like their sinner self is their true life.. that should not be so, in my opinion.
@@richardkutsera4992 to judge by background characters it actually seems like the majority of heaven are also weird animal people, though, and none of those were redeemed out of hell. seems to me that it's likely that while there's a difference between angels and hellborn, there's little to no difference between sinners and regular humans who went to heaven also none of these people got here yesterday. some of them have been dead longer than they were alive (angel comes to mind as someone who has already been dead several times longer than he was alive, for example). i honestly don't think beginning to feel very detached from a previous identity is weird at all given a timescale that often spans decades, and having that original change involve more or less getting put into a new and very different body would make that mental shift even easier
@@MalkuthSephira If you go to Heaven as a Winner, you obviously could choose how you looked like, and people are wierd...if you go to Hell, it is a punishment and you are supposed to hate it and your life there...therefore they should not feel like their new body is something to get accoustomed to...altough the series is kind of weird about the Hell part, because it very much seems like Hell is not a punishment, just a place you are tossed to if you do not make into Heaven, and the only thing that makes life bad for people in Hell is other people in hell. Meanwhile, Adam sings about things like "boiling in the pot" and "burning for their lives" which we do not see at all.

Wanted to leave a comment about the weapons of three of the characters,the ones I noticed were different from their original versions, husk's playing cards have a white border now because they are edged by angel steel, cherri bomb's bombs are now sporting a white design on them instead of the original black design and angels dust Tommy guns now have a white spider web design instead of I believe it was a grey spiderweb pattern, basically they all received an angel weapon upgrade from carmilla, I didn't notice any other but there might be some
Funny thing I noticed, Cherry’s bombs and Husker’s cards/dice bombs are probably the most unique angelic/blessed weapons in the entire fight. Cherry probably just took shards and shavings into her explosives but Husker probably had to actually ask Carmilla for a custom order. I would throw in Angel Dust, but his weapons are just Tommy guns, who knows how many of those blessed items are out on the streets.

I’m pretty sure Carmilla just got lucky in escaping after offing an executioner because once the other angels had collected themselves she’d be swarmed like flies on honey if she didn’t bail; the same could be said for anyone who tries to kill an angel, blessed weapon or not. Hell, Carmilla explains that with how rare angelic steel is, people aren’t exactly going to go murder hobo on everything and everyone, let alone angels. Sure, it wouldn’t be a surprise to hear/see some of her merch go missing, but stealing shit like this is like playing with fire; especially if your boss is the kind to personally take a look at their inventory.

The reason Adam's mask glitched like that is because by saying out loud that he was going to kill Charlie while choking her out, signified that the deal made with Lucifer was broken. As mentioned in episode 1, Lucifer made a deal with Adam that all Hellborn are pardoned from the Exorcist's blades and he will not be able to interfere with the Exterminations. So by breaking the deal, Lucifer is free to act without consequence. Many people think that Dazzle's death broke the deal but what they keep forgetting is Razzle and Dazzle are not actual Hellborn creatures. They were stuffed animals given life by Lucifer and as such, Dazzle's death did not void the deal.

@@johnhager8967 Yeah, Nephilims are basically Angels with Souls. Adam is proof that Souls can be promoted to Angel Status but Adam is a special case because he is the 1st Man. His soul is probably the purest as it can get when he died due to the time he lived, sinning's definition isn't as broad as it was then than it was now.
Souls are a mortal's potential for both good and evil along with the power that comes from it (remember, if the soul is evil enough and they gather other souls to fuel their power the Sinners can become Overlords in Hell), so what happens when an immortal being is born with that potential? So Charlie is subconsciously and consciously holding back her own power. When she transformed into her Demon Form, that was her tapping into her Hellborn abilities, but apparently that wasn't enough to beat Adam. It was only when Lucifer was in danger that Charlie tapped into some more of her power that she managed to block Adam's attack. Hopefully we get to discover what that power is if and when the show gets its new seasons.
She has the potential to be the strongest being in existence in their universe. The only living creature that is Angel, Devil, and Human all in one. Her mother was an Human, and her Father was the strongest Angel who was cast down and became a THE Devil before her creation. Her power could potentially dwarf all others. She just doesn't like violence, so she never learned about her power. She is going to show wings at some point as well. She hasn't even hit that form yet. We, just like her, have only seen a taste of her power.
Where was she glowing? There was no glow aside from the red sparks from the transformation of her arm. Lucifer is the only one glowing (and Adam, until he got knocked out)

It took her dad being in danger for her to let go of her fear of who she is and tap into the power she has. And yet, she atill stayed true to herself offering him mercy.
Lucifer absolutely toyed with Adam and roasted the hell out of him.
That fight was functionally over in two hits; one that broke the mask, the other that flattened Adam into the ground. The other few punches were just icing on the cake. THAT is how strong Lucifer is. He's as far above Adam as Adam would be above your average npc sinner. It's not even a contest.
@peterbear4413 oh yeah. And honestly Charlie got in two extremely solid hits. That first with the trident when she flung him around into the sign. And then that final punch cratering him into the ground to protect Lucifer. It's nice to see her accepting that she can do good with her power and learning to use it.
This finale was fantastic. We got so many amazing scenes, just imagine if the runtime were longer than a half hour.

Both Lilith and Alistor had been missing for 7 years at the start of the series. And while Lilith stayed missing, Alistor just so happens to return, when Lilith' daughter needs help with her hotel. What a coincidence, isn't it?
You can probably see, why the leading fan theory is that Lilith is the one holding Alistor's leash. Considering how powerful Alistor is, it would have to be someone really near the top of the food chain to have power over him, and Lilith certainly would fit the bill for that.
Actually, it doesn't need to be someone more powerful than Alastor to make a deal with him. Deals are absolute, once done, nothing can undo them. It would only need for Alastor to be in need of help for someone to put him on a leash. However, Lilith is without a doubt the biggest suspect as the one that owns Alastor's soul.
The theory fits the known facts, but I feel like it's entirely too easy. No... I think Alastor's deal is with Eve. You'll note that she's conspicuously absent, and when you consider that (in this canon) her accepting the apple is what caused Evil to come into existence, well... Eve is almost certainly the being that fans refer to as ROO, the Root of All Evil.
But that's just my theory, and I can't wait to see what the truth is.
@@peterbear4413 Hmm... As someone who ate the friut of knowledge, I could see Eve wishing to spread the knowledge that sinners can be redeemed to everyone. And it could serve any alignment. Good, because it means the end of the purges and that some sinners will gain better lives. Neutral if it's done for knowledge in it's own right. And evil, if it's done to mess with heaven and/or bring Sera down.
Em and Sera are both Seraphims, and are represented by having multiple eyes. Pentious showing up at the table may represent him becoming a new Seraphim to take Lucifer's place.

Oh man I can’t believe they killed Adam. He made this season, I can’t even imagine how they’re do season two without him it’s just not gonna feel the same. Oh well it looks like the Vees are gonna the main antagonists next season and I’m here for it, they’re easily the best characters right up there with Adam and Lute.

Couple personal theories:
1. Lucifer couldn't join the fight before Charlie got hurt. Calling back to previous mentions to how "Lucifer got them a deal from extermination". Once Adam punched Charlie, the terms of the deal would've been broken and now Lucifer is free to fight Adam directly. Lucifer made the deal to protect Charlie as he didn't care about anyone else in Hell.
2. Lilith too is in Heaven due to a similar deal. As mentioned in the first episode, it was Lilith that gathered a force to invade Heaven, which obviously went south. With the contract that Lucifer did with Heaven, it heavily restricted Lilith's ability to build up another powerbase, so to circumvent that she made a deal with Heaven that she would stay in Heaven where they can have her under continuous surveillance. However at the same time she made yet another deal with Alastor, granting him her powers and that contract might include a clause about protecting / aiding Charlie in building up a power base that Lilith wants to control by proxy.
Meanwhile of course Alastor too has his own thoughts about how to use Charlie's power and might as he mentioned during the Ready for This song on episode 8 and further mentions the constrictions of his contract with someone. Eitherway, this would allow Lilith to try another assault on Heaven while seemingly just laying about.
Also, as a last note; As a gay-gay homosexual and a certified pansexual, I have to say that IMO Charlie/Vaggie shares the BEST kiss in the Vivzie multiverse right now in this episode, which is perfect concidering the beginning of Pride Month just now.

Yeah, the V's are effing stupid on an epid level. Not only were all the cannibals there of their own free will with no one owing their souls but only one overlord died in the fight and that was Sir Pentious. As much as we love they guy, Pentious was incredibly weak and didn't own many souls. As for the line about Alistor, he was shown to be fully recovered and back at the hotel before the sun even came up so he hasn't gotten any weaker either.

ive had my own theory as to why Lucifer only showed up when he did. remember when they said that the hellborn were not supposed to be hunted by the exorcists? well what if Adam attacking Charlie broke the deal and allowed Lucifer to enter the fight?
It's absolutely gotta be that. It had been pointed out a few times I believe of the deal. He COULD NOT get involved until someone in the original deal got threatened with death. Notice it was very almost right after he said "it's time to die" he appeared.

More Than Anything was the duet between Lucifer and Charlie. The one in this episode was the Reprise ^_^
YESSSSS I AM SO HAPPY! UA-cam sucks it made this hard for you. Kirby's squeak at the end of the episode lol! Yeah we got dropped with so much hinted lore the fandom exploded at this. We know its like another year till next season at least but they are working fast and hard on it. Sir Pentious being redeemed made everyone feral, we're so happy he lived! Alastor's injury and his mental break down in the final song is huge and drives so many theories.
The Vee's control all media dont forget. That is a famous tactic of war, to spread lies and control the masses via misinformation. Instead of brute force power they manipulate. With them thinking Alastor is missing again and the new info on the extermination defeat they probably think they can use info to their advantage. Alastor is the only one besides them with media control. He could ruin their misinformation campaign. This is the leading theory I believe on the Vee's cause they are confirmed next seasons big bads.

That smile Adam gave Lute at the end made me sympathize with a realization about Adam.
Adam has always been alone. First man means only man. No friends at all. No one cares about you. And when your first wife rejects you for Lucifer, and then your second wife takes in the apple from Lucifer, all Adam would have felt is the realization that he was unloved by anyone.
That's why he feels the need to present himself as a big deal. So that he doesn't deal with the crippling realization that no one gives a damn about him. Yet when he died, Lute mourned him, so he realized, "Oh shit, someone actually gives a f*ck about me..."
That’s not the version of “More Than Anything” that got big. It’s the Lucifer/Charlie duet.
Honestly they were really inconsistent with how durable the angels are cause falling debris of the hotel managed to crach the armor and cause Lute to bleed.
One thing you need to know, Vox and Valentino and Velvet can take the Overlords.
Alastor is considered the Strongest, the rest are more reclusive and havent done much.

There is a thing tho: if I started as a human, sinned so went hell reborn as a snake men, then managed to redeem myself, sacrificing myself for my friends, I would be a little bummed that I am up there as a freaking snake. Should have my human form. The characters in the show are threated/portayed like not caring about their previous, human lifes at all, like it did not even exist, like their sinner self is their true life.. that should not be so, in my opinion.
@@richardkutsera4992 to judge by background characters it actually seems like the majority of heaven are also weird animal people, though, and none of those were redeemed out of hell. seems to me that it's likely that while there's a difference between angels and hellborn, there's little to no difference between sinners and regular humans who went to heaven
also none of these people got here yesterday. some of them have been dead longer than they were alive (angel comes to mind as someone who has already been dead several times longer than he was alive, for example). i honestly don't think beginning to feel very detached from a previous identity is weird at all given a timescale that often spans decades, and having that original change involve more or less getting put into a new and very different body would make that mental shift even easier
@@MalkuthSephira If you go to Heaven as a Winner, you obviously could choose how you looked like, and people are wierd...if you go to Hell, it is a punishment and you are supposed to hate it and your life there...therefore they should not feel like their new body is something to get accoustomed to...altough the series is kind of weird about the Hell part, because it very much seems like Hell is not a punishment, just a place you are tossed to if you do not make into Heaven, and the only thing that makes life bad for people in Hell is other people in hell. Meanwhile, Adam sings about things like "boiling in the pot" and "burning for their lives" which we do not see at all.

Wanted to leave a comment about the weapons of three of the characters,the ones I noticed were different from their original versions, husk's playing cards have a white border now because they are edged by angel steel, cherri bomb's bombs are now sporting a white design on them instead of the original black design and angels dust Tommy guns now have a white spider web design instead of I believe it was a grey spiderweb pattern, basically they all received an angel weapon upgrade from carmilla, I didn't notice any other but there might be some
Funny thing I noticed, Cherry’s bombs and Husker’s cards/dice bombs are probably the most unique angelic/blessed weapons in the entire fight. Cherry probably just took shards and shavings into her explosives but Husker probably had to actually ask Carmilla for a custom order. I would throw in Angel Dust, but his weapons are just Tommy guns, who knows how many of those blessed items are out on the streets.

@@richardkutsera4992 You’re forgetting the ramifications of doing something like that (Unless you’re Velvet and think that the extermination is literally all the angels can bring to the table in the most basic way). I’m pretty sure Carmilla just got lucky in escaping after offing an executioner because once the other angels had collected themselves she’d be swarmed like flies on honey if she didn’t bail; the same could be said for anyone who tries to kill an angel, blessed weapon or not. Hell, Carmilla explains that with how rare angelic steel is, people aren’t exactly going to go murder hobo on everything and everyone, let alone angels. Sure, it wouldn’t be a surprise to hear/see some of her merch go missing, but stealing shit like this is like playing with fire; especially if your boss is the kind to personally take a look at their inventory.

That is why Carmilla was not thinking about ramifications either just dived and attacked to save her daughters, not even knowing it would work. And yeah that she survived is bs coz there should have had been much more angels around according to numbers the show gives. Also see there is the contradiction, you said in your initial comment about those tommy guns are out in the streets, yet now you speak about how rare and difficult to retrieve angelic steel is. Are Angel's tommy guns common or rare now then?
The reason Adam's mask glitched like that is because by saying out loud that he was going to kill Charlie while choking her out, signified that the deal made with Lucifer was broken. As mentioned in episode 1, Lucifer made a deal with Adam that all Hellborn are pardoned from the Exorcist's blades and he will not be able to interfere with the Exterminations. So by breaking the deal, Lucifer is free to act without consequence.
Many people think that Dazzle's death broke the deal but what they keep forgetting is Razzle and Dazzle are not actual Hellborn creatures. They were stuffed animals given life by Lucifer and as such, Dazzle's death did not void the deal.
