Aster: First Time Growing & Tincturing Aster

A great plant to add to your garden and herbal medicine cabinet!
This was our first season growing aster. Fragrant, beautiful purple blooms that appear in late August, early September. She did great in sandy soil. So many beneficial uses for this plant, but I plan to tincture the fresh flowers and dry some for use throughout the year as a tea and steam.
