This swatch party provided great context for all those colors - and you included several shades I was interested in putting on my wishlist. Thanks so much for this one!
First video of yours after hearing Kackie talk about you for weeks! I LOVE the way you describe your experience with the products and the comparison swatches were so helpful. Great video!!
Thank you for this video, and I love your glasses! I have been a customer of Phytosurgence for a year and a half, and I love absolutely everything I've purchased from them. I use their Verdant Forcefield almost daily, and their Blush Balms are my all-time favorite cream blushes. I do like their highlighters, but I use them for a brightening, blurring effect beneath any other products (or to help set my concealer) and often put an actual shimmery or blinding highlighter over the top along the tops of my cheekbones. I have a muted cool undertone and have a light (bordering on fair in the winter) complexion. I purchased Rosy Daybreak (shade 2) and am in love with it! I was considering Rosy Warmth (shade 4) because I was worried Rosy Daybreak might be too light, but it's perfect! It gives such a beautiful, rosy glow and complements any blush I put over it. I might consider trying Golden Warmth when I am ready to make a future purchase from Phytosurgence. It looked gorgeous on you, as did Rosy Daybreak! I do use the Phytosurgence brush to apply their bronzer, and it blends instantly and perfectly without any fuss or effort. I'm typically a fingers-application kind of person, but I pay attention when Phytosurgence gives instructions! 😂 Anyway, I was so glad to see your review of these bronzers, and I wanted others to know that Phytosurgence is an amazing indie brand. I've had the best experience being a consistent customer of theirs, and I trust their products. 💜
Commenting to say thank you SO MUCH for comparing to Eros, I literally got so hype (I screamed) because I have been dying for this comparison I thought no one would do. Now I can feel safe about getting rosy daybreak!!!
I have great luck with ipsy, so i don't really retail-buy high end stuff anymore, but i make exceptions (complexion!). I really appreciate the incredibly detailed reviews that you provide- when i decide to splurge, I'll identify the category i need, and look thru reviews & semi-trustworthy articles to narrow down to high performance items, then i deep dive into reviews like these, which can be tough to find. For those of us who are on tight budgets & take major purchases seriously (my system does work lol, i rarely am disappointed by makeup that i select this way), it's extremely helpful to have content like this. And it's nice to know a few influencers do take these prices into consideration and understand that many of us cannot just drop money on a cute swatch or a quick first impressions short...
PS I wanna add that I am very impressed by your business ethics- you really are transparent in fact AND tone about your income sources, and that this is an opportunity that few people will experience. Even unintentionally, some creators get a little too breezy about it and technically obey FCC but gloss over & misdirect, relying on the parasocial trust effect, and get a bit entitled about their careers. That said, I know you are grateful for the platform you have, but do remember...you did all the work! Keep up the respectful and honest tone, and the lack of ego ❤, but promise me that you do sometimes, privately but obnoxiously, celebrate your beautiful self & all that you have achieved!! My boss once caught me dancing and singing "I am the best and I kick ass" 🎶 in the parking lot, so don't do it outside lol... I was just happy over some earned media coverage haha...
I wear very little contour & never actual bronzer, but I do love to brontour using rosy or neutral shades. Love the vid Tom, thanks so much for all the info.
You sold me -- Rosy Daybreak is the winner for me as well! It suits you perfectly. It's nearly undetectable as makeup, it truly looks like the sun did it! *Thank you for such an in-depth review, as always you did a wonderful job!*
PUMPED that these are restocked! Think I'm gonna go for the two lightest "Rosy" ones. My powder bronzer is the Gucci Eclat Soleil in 01, which I like very much, and has a similar rosy undertones. Speaking of rose, your glasses are so pretty!
I don't know if you watch Rachel Ellen Rose, she did swatch Shade 2 up against the Gucci bronzer in her latest video! It could be worth it to see how they compare for you!
Rosy daybreak looking good... it's late winter, so fast approaching bronzer picking time here. On my radar, so thank you 😊 And love the statement earring! Reminds me so much of a pair I wore to death back in 1982/83 when I was a tween.. they were pink lightning bolts! ⚡Loved em! ❤
Hey Tom! Thank you so much for this video - I was probably going to get the 1st 2 shades but you've convinced me I only need Rosy Daybreak :) BUT, I wanted to ask what lip product you're wearing in the last 1/2 of this video?? I love it & need to have it. Thank you!
As a poli sci major, I heartily approve, but hope you're doing better financially than me! Lol after a history-focused grad program, and 20+ years in health & human services jobs, I am finally a historian (as well as a bunch of other things, small staff & a tight budget museum, I also have cleaning duties lol). It's def not a great salary (it's almost meh lol), but it's a great work-life. I can't imagine life in a career I didn't really love, a mission led life really is IT.
@@standdownrobots_ihaveoldglory how awesome is it to be able to call yourself a historian though!!!! “hello yes i’m a historian” that’s wild!!! so cool. as for me- not currently working in my field of study. but the fact that i have a stable job at all feels like a miracle. i remember my mom cautioning me about my degree choice and i was like bleh you don’t understand me. but by the time i was graduating i was like. oh shit. it all worked out fine though ❤️ i studied what i loved and benefited greatly from what i learned, now i have a job to keep me going while i figure out what i want to be when i grow up ☺️ (said the fully grown-ass tax paying woman)
I ordered 1 and 2, and I am absolutely loving them. Rosy Daybreak is my favorite. Between their skincare and makeup, I use at least three Phytosurgence products every day.
Love the glasses, Sally Jessy energy in the 21st century!

I am obsessed with Rosy Daybreak. I got it and Golden Daybreak. The Golden is fine for me but Rosy?!? Swoooooooon. Hands down my new favorite bronzer.

Thanks so much for doing this review, Tom!
Fingers crossed #2 works on my über cool, HLP-level fair skin (I can’t wait until it arrives)!!!

Such a thorough comparison.
Thank you for this and all of the hard work!! It helps big time with my decision….when they are able to restock the product I will be ready! 💕

I bought shade 2. On the restock. It’s on it’s way. Hope I made the right choice ❤❤
Love the review!!
Very useful and informative, thank you ❤️
PS: love the glasses, they really suit you 🤩🤩🤩
Thank you!!
I’m very excited about the shade range but I do hope they’ll add a “middle” neutral shade! Probably not but I can dream 🥺
maybe! They've extended their blush and eyeshadow ranges before! If there's enough demand for it I could see it!
They seem to respond well to customer requests - so ask them
On posts. Over and over. You may get it ❤

I don't think my lip product changed in the video! I should be in my description box! xx
@@hautemesstom ach...I always forget that! Thank you!
I like bronzer - and I like contour - I’m just not sure how to use them together. Might you do a video about that? Thank you!!

Hi Tom! Thank you for this detailed review. Do you (or any of the fellow viewers) know if we can get this brand in the EU?
I just took a look at their website, it appears that right now they ship to Canada, the US, Australia and New Zealand. :(
@@hautemesstom thank you Tom. Hope they will expand to EU in the future 🙏🏼
Are your glasses Zennis? I think I have the aqua color of these frames 🤓
They are! They’re like 8 years old at this point tho lol.

What kind of brush do you like to use with this formula?
