I heard that a lot of editing programs have a setting that can do it so that you do not have to mess with the camera all the time. Also, I remember a while ago another vlogger Tati said that you can remove self tanner mistakes with window cleaner the blue stuff. I know it sounds harsh but if you do it quick and then wash the area it should be fine. you might want to try it out. Also it might help if you put a lotion on the areas that seem to darken the most like your knuckles, ankles, elbows places like that before applying the self tanner it will act like a barrier. I am so SICK of seeing so many people being harsh and rude towards Lauren and other youtubers. Some people seem to think that youtube is the only thing going on in their life. that they don't have feelings and won't get hurt by what people say. "no offence" doesn't make a comment not offensive, and straight up ordering some one to do something is rude!! UA-camrs are normal people just like me and you, they have hard times and problems just like any other person. And then people make it even harder by not having any thought about what they're saying. Yes you are entitled to your opinions but that does NOT mean you should voice them. Been watching Lauren from the start and absolutely mean no hate but did anyone else think some of these videos have lost their momentum and excitement? Like making videos seems to be more of a chore rather than something she seems to enjoy?
Nah, I think she's doing fantastic! It seems like there has been a lot going on in her life lately. I just appreciate that she's still making videos! I imagine it's stressful knowing there are 2 million people waiting for her next upload, especially when it seems like everyone has a different opinion about each new video! I'd be pulling my hair out in frustration if I was taking all this time to make a video, edit it and then upload it, and the trolls came out from every different direction to say how much they hate it.

If you're not in the mood to make videos, it's okay to take a break from UA-cam. Settle in to your new house, have a rest, nobody will die if you don't make a video for two weeks. It's kinda obvious that you really have to force yourself in your recent videos and it makes those of us who care about your wellbeing worry because you look so strained. Maybe have some time off UA-cam and recoup :) x
I don't think we can get these products in America so the brand focus doesn't apply to a good bit of people. If this was a review I wouldn't have watched, but because it's a tutorial, it's actually interesting to me. May I ask why you don't like their products? If it's a product quality issue or an ethics thing?

To be completely honest, I don't think Lauren is enjoying filming anymore and it's really showing in the quality of her tutorials. Where are the new products that she's probably been sent by how many companies... You can't possibly keep creating "new looks" with the same products and expect a million views. Which brings me to another question... How does she get that many views?? Lauren if your going to bite the hand that fed you ( I.e not catering to your subscribers and posting regularly or at least with videos with substance) then quit while your ahead..
Lauren has actually recently said how she's been going through a tough time and that has possibly just been showing in her videos. She's also probably been extremely busy with moving house and will be still settling in. Please don't just assume she doesn't like UA-cam anymore, plus there are still plenty of people who love her videos.

No. Tan people have a tan face and put tan makeup on, that makes their face tan,it doesn't get darker. Just like if you are white and you put foundation on the same color as your face, it doesn't make your face whiter...
people (like myself) tend to break out from tanning their face. Also, face cleansers for acne/break out prone skin do have ingredients that 'lighten' your face

I don't think she ever said she was trying to look like a colored person? She likes being tan; if being her natural, pale color doesn't make her feel as comfortable or confident, then that's her business. I don't really see how a girl who uses self tanner has anything to do with little kids being bullied. Hi Lauren, I've been watching your videos now for years and respect you entirely. Although, lately, I've found it extremely difficult to sit through your videos. You just seem so monotone and non enthusiastic. I understand, you are only human and maybe you are quite overwhelmed by youtube/people/pressure ect. I understand it would be extremely hard being on a pedestal every moment of your life, because quite clearly, people look up to you. This is just in my opinion, it seems like more of a sluggish 'I have to film a video'. It feels like you are extremely, no offence, depressed and your just putting on a brave face for the camera. Although, me and other people, who care and like to watch you, can see through that armour? If you need to take time off for yourself and retreat just to feel better, or maybe to get back in the right head space, I urge you to do so. I'm sure your faithful viewers would urge you to as well. If you moving is helping you get back to that happy state than that's absolutely amazing and I look forward to watching you rejuvenate again. As I said before, I just hope you find what your looking for and can get back to your happy self.

So many makeup artists on UA-cam assume that "Arabic" makeup means tons of black eyeliner. Im an Arab and I just want to say this is not how the majority of Arab women wear their makeup. It would be nice if you were a little bit more creative and did not limit our look to just black eyeliner and black eyeshadow. You can pull off this look, though.

It seemed like you went a little to fast in this video, forgetting that new people are watching this video and have no clue how to contour or fill in their eyebrows or perfect a winged liner :) Also, I love Urban Decay products, just an idea for a new ONE BRAND video! UA-cam is her full time job so I think that everyone should understand that this how she earn money for living . Sponsor videos paying her and its 100 % normal and all of you shouldn't hate her for doing videos like this , bc videos like this pay off her bills the same way your work pays yours . I'm 100 % for sponsor videos bc its helps her earn for living , if stuff like that helps her its helps me bc i know that she will still do videos . BUT if you-tubers start doing sponsor videos all the time , like 4 of 5 videos is sponsor , its just selling off , you cant trust you-tuber like that . Personally think the background of your videos are disinteresting and boring to look at, something with colour or bits of interest (like the brushes)might be something you should consider looking into. Love the lighting and sound.are you ok though? You seem half arsed about your videos latley..

Nothing makes me angrier than the comments on here about how Lauren talks to much, or about how she does the 'same' makeup, or just shitty little negative things. If you don't like it, honestly just don't watch her channel anymore. She tries hard for you guys & some people are never satisfied, & it's really horrible. Imagine if you were behind the computer making all this videos to try please people & all you ever got was negative comments about how you are? You've gotta to remember she isn't some robot. I thought she did a great job, she did a look that suited her face and accentuated her eyes. Her technique was precise and clean. Please also take note that the look in the title is Arabic cat eye "inspired". With that being said thank you Lauren for doing this look.

You know I opened the video and immidiatelly I thought "oh my god that backround is damn awesome!" and then I kinda got jealous because I can't afford that many different brushes yet, but I hope that'll change as soon as I start my career as a make up artist. I don't know why, but I'm just really obsessed with brushes, always have, always will haha (: And what me really fascinates me everytime is how easily you apply your eyeliner. I try it often but it just does not look professional even though I'm not thinking about giving up yet, but yeah.. your eyeliner looks dramatically beautiful and almost breathtaking everytime.. it's like said always fascinating watching that part of the video haha, I sound like a geek... I don't think we can get these products in America so the brand focus doesn't apply to a good bit of people. If this was a review I wouldn't have watched, but because it's a tutorial, it's actually interesting to me. May I ask why you don't like their products? If it's a product quality issue or an ethics thing?

To be completely honest, I don't think Lauren is enjoying filming anymore and it's really showing in the quality of her tutorials. Where are the new products that she's probably been sent by how many companies... You can't possibly keep creating "new looks" with the same products and expect a million views. Which brings me to another question... How does she get that many views?? Lauren if your going to bite the hand that fed you ( I.e not catering to your subscribers and posting regularly or at least with videos with substance) then quit while your ahead..

Lauren has actually recently said how she's been going through a tough time and that has possibly just been showing in her videos. She's also probably been extremely busy with moving house and will be still settling in. No. Tan people have a tan face and put tan makeup on, that makes their face tan,it doesn't get darker. Just like if you are white and you put foundation on the same color as your face, it doesn't make your face whiter...

She likes being tan; if being her natural, pale color doesn't make her feel as comfortable or confident, then that's her business. I don't really see how a girl who uses self tanner has anything to do with little kids being bullied. Hi Lauren, I've been watching your videos now for years and respect you entirely. Although, lately, I've found it extremely difficult to sit through your videos. You just seem so monotone and non enthusiastic. I understand, you are only human and maybe you are quite overwhelmed by youtube/people/pressure ect. I understand it would be extremely hard being on a pedestal every moment of your life, because quite clearly, people look up to you. This is just in my opinion, it seems like more of a sluggish 'I have to film a video'. It feels like you are extremely, no offence, depressed and your just putting on a brave face for the camera. Although, me and other people, who care and like to watch you, can see through that armour? If you need to take time off for yourself and retreat just to feel better, or maybe to get back in the right head space, I urge you to do so. I'm sure your faithful viewers would urge you to as well. If you moving is helping you get back to that happy state than that's absolutely amazing and I look forward to watching you rejuvenate again. As I said before, I just hope you find what your looking for and can get back to your happy self.

So many makeup artists on UA-cam assume that "Arabic" makeup means tons of black eyeliner. Im an Arab and I just want to say this is not how the majority of Arab women wear their makeup. It would be nice if you were a little bit more creative and did not limit our look to just black eyeliner and black eyeshadow. You can pull off this look, though.

Sponsor videos paying her and its 100 % normal and all of you shouldn't hate her for doing videos like this , bc videos like this pay off her bills the same way your work pays yours . Nothing makes me angrier than the comments on here about how Lauren talks to much, or about how she does the 'same' makeup, or just shitty little negative things.
If you don't like it, honestly just don't watch her channel anymore. She tries hard for you guys & some people are never satisfied, & it's really horrible.

About the lighting and sound, videos I liked the most are the ones when u had a blurred background and only your face sharp, and a bit further away from camera, and the sound I think is a bit off, but ull get that done I am sure.
