    Sodium, atomic number 11, was first isolated by Peter Dager in 1807. A chemical component of salt, he named it Na in honor of the saltiest region on earth, North America.

    OK not everyone in the Ti5 roster were "second hand players" PPD's right hand man was Fear who played position 1 for that roster and is arguably one of the best Dota players ever, he has deep knowledge of the game, as well as being mechanically amazing at the game, even to this day. They also had universe who at the time was considered a great 3rd position player and had a lot of experience under his belt. The only true gambles were maybe Aui (who still had a ton of experience in the game) and sumail who was a 16 year old nobody at the time. I love when this channel makes videos like these but i always have a battle everytime they cover dota, because it is very noticeable that they are not super knowledgeable of the game or the scene.

      Yea, they just won DAC before TI, they swept VG 3-0 in grand finals after losing to them in winner final, beat Secret 2-0 in loser finals and beat burning and xiao8 team in the winner semis
      They were a direct invite and everyone thought they were really fucking good team going into TI. A group of seemingly random players who never won anything before but shit on almost everyone was CDEC at that same TI. This why PPD a draft God tho because he let them have discopony(consistent 1st ban all-tournament) in the grand finals when that shit was broken af but Shiki couldn't play it and it didn't matter, big peen plays

    • @Talk3rs
      @Talk3rs 4 роки тому +1

      Well, they kind of were "second hand" players, when assembled - sure, they were going into TI as one of bigger favourites (TOP4?) with decent results, but individually I think neither of those players was considered TOP3 in their positions.
      But you could say that other teams (not judging early dota2, as it was way too messy):
      Wings had 3 players, who did not achieve anything except the successes with Wings and 2 of them had tier2 results with Ehome.
      OG had Notail transitioning from 1 to 5, Ceb, who was not even active player for several years and pubstar/wonderkid Topson and Ana, who havent played professional dota for a year. Only world class, reliable player was Jerax.
      DC with 2nd place at TI - Moo and Saksa were completely unknown players, w33 rather new star (just half a year with Secret), Misery "aging" and in decline already and Reso playing long time for Empire, arguably T2 team.
      There were many teams, that were surprising, assembled from necessity and who somehow succeeded.

Obviously Gwent is not as big of a scene as any of the stuff this channel features or the normal stuff he does in his career, but he did well in that tournament he was invited to, especially for someone who probably didn't play a lot of the game prior to it. @zhixci958 4 роки тому +1

      @@ZombieKitty321 i'm not sure if you play dota or not but i think you dont understand the difference between roles in dota. So i will break it down for you
      The position 5 in which the position PPD plays doesn't require as much mechanical skill as you think, and because of that it's extremely boring. it's also usually played by the least skilled player.
      Game knowledge and clutch decision making are far more important than mechanical skill in that role. This is why there's only a few recognized dota captain in dota's history.
      Positioning is the primary skill you need to have in that role. As long as you have half a brain and can position yourself in team fight well and you don't panic you generally will do good.
      Micro skills can also be utilized but not necessary
      If you want a military reference. The captain/pos5 is more of a general than your typical soldier, so yes even if they can't shoot they're still important

    • @Talk3rs
      @Talk3rs 4 роки тому

      @@zhixci958 I am not sure if you play dota or not, but let me correct your assumption...
      Positions 4/5 are arguably the hardest roles during laning stage (maybe mid as well, as it is pure 1x1) and most demanding - you are not just sitting in the lane and hitting creeps - you are trying to outwit your opponents and make the laning stage easy for your team - you are trying to pull, secure rune for midlaner, get bounties, you are the one who is rotating/helping when dives occure. Sure, you are not hitting creeps (if that is what you mean mechanical skills) - you are doing 10x more in lane. Try to play some WD support with killing linuep (ideally with Luna/CK/Sven).
      What you are saying was maybe true 3-4 years ago, when you had to buy all the wards, courier, dust without the extra XP, bounties etc, so you ended up being happy to have boots+wand minute 10. Now if you pick interesting support (WD), you can actually have the most kills in your team (if you play with something like Luna/CK/Sven) or Silencer (with heroes with slow in lane). It is bloodbath and not because of carry, but because of support. Carries just deliver damage, you deliver the play.

    NA so often has the wrong mentality to actually be competitive, but sometimes it works out. The mindset of the average American today is such a contrast to the humble informed optimism that saw the country rise to be a modern superpower post WW2. Fortunately for the US of A there are still exceptional individuals with that proper attitude and ability to place nice that can lead to sustained greatness in genuine international competition. Like Phelps, Spitz or Michael Johnson. But we so rarely see that in esports that NA is now synonymous with petty arrogance, failure to understand the bigger picture in any game, general disappointment and hype being rewarded with capitulation and ultimately crushing failure. Good luck to Bjergsen, the young Dane carrying the hopes of NA in Worlds.

    Interview with their defeat against VP, PPD: Our mid still got owned despite the fact that we counterpicked NoOne. NoOne is really that good.
    Note: NoOne is a long time #1 in CIS
    PPD (as of 2019): Looking for a team in EU or CIS
    Note: PPD was trying to say, VP pick me!!
    NoOne:
