You gotta love when both casters forget about counterballance in play and go off on possible lines that absolutely dont matter lol. Are they even watching the match? :)
I definitely got a little flustered watching this match.

5:45 Shoutout to the Bojuka Boig In Tom's sideboard
In the final attack of the second game, I think Joe waited to see if tom had some pump spell to pump inkmoth nexus. If he did and joe didn't have an answer, he would be dead. Waiting with jace, he could have bounced the inkmoth nexus after combat so that he would have summoning sickness on the next turn and he didn't die to that pump spell.

+benjaminaramis Tom actually screwed up pretty majorly in G3. He payed for the kicker on Vines of Vastwood when it was not necessary, and if Joe hadn't activated top (a mistake on his part), Joe would have won the Flusterstorm fight. There was also a more subtle mistake by Joe earlier in the game, when he cliqued Ross and didn't take anything. There was a land on top of Tom's library (put back with the Brainstorm earlier), and if Joe had actually taken something there the game would have turned out much differently.
Either way though, it was still a fantastic match.
+Luxucs You should do commentary instead of CVM. I love the guy, but he was clueless.
@@Luxucs I know it's years later but a comment on the clique. Joe had no way of knowing there was a land on top and giving a fresh card that could possibly be lethal could be very very risky, especially against infect with a pilot like Tom Ross

when a high reputation player like Joe made stupid mistake keeping non land hand, somehow still getting positive comments from commentator... seriously period...
+Andriy Law It's perfectly viable to keep a no-lander if the rest of your hand is amazing, especially with the new scry rule.
