    Holy hand grenade batman! That tip to spray the distilled water on the TW Ceramic to take out the greasey film/smudge is the B.O.M.B!!! Definitely earned you a thumbs up and a new subscriber. 😎 It never ceases to amaze me how the pros like yourself give the viewership trade secrets so easily. I've been in the automotive industry for almost three decades and never not once have I ever seen that little water spritz trick used to even out a polish.. I just used it on my black Jetta and you saved me almost 1.5 hours of rubbing and buffing with a bag full of microfiber towels chasing that bloody ceramic polish greasey film/smudge look all over...

    Hi Phil, it was good to see a 'normal' car getting the treatment instead of one that was almost mint to start with.
    Some of those sanding scuffs made me cringe but it was nice to watch, thankyou.
    Stay safe both of you.

    Thank you for recommending this product to me. I have found by using the Turtle Wax Hybrid line of products excellent. After properly preparing my vehicles for polishing, I applied 2 coats of the polish/wax, waiting 24 hours between coatings. Then I applied 2 coats of the ceramic coating, again waiting 24 hours between coats. It has now been 7 months since applying, and both of my cars look great! I use ONR for maintenance washes, occasionally use their 3 in 1 detailer. After 6 months, I used their hybrid wash, then dried with their wet wax. Phil, keep up the Great Work, thanks...

    I really like the new Turtle Wax Products. But not the Hybrid Ceramic Wax(non black version).
    I completed my 2019 Honda Ridgeline.
    I first thoroughly cleaned the truck.
    I polished with 5" rotary, using blue foam pad, and using Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic Polish&Wax. This worked nicely for application, clean-off, and swirl removal.
    I waited a few days and applied the Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic Wax. This I didn't like! Apply and wiping off left light&dark streaking, uneven.
    I had to wipe down with a damp microfiber cloth and immediately with a dry microfiber.
    I have used the TW ICE Wax and Detailing on my Corvette. Works easily, and has the shine.
    I will not buy the TW Ceramic Wax or Detailer again!

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  4 роки тому +1

      HI
      Thanks for sharing, Yeah the Hybrid Spray Coating will leave some high spots, but what you mentioned using a damp MF towel and a dry one to Buff is the recommended way to level it, It bonds immediately so its still there, but the high spots and streaks need a little water to level out. Its does that when I apply it also, but i learned that water trick and it's totally fine. Same goes with Seal and Shine, if it leaves high spots/streaks a damp towel will level them and make them go away. But use what works for you man! We all have products we like and the just work for us well, others have a learning curve.😎👍

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  2 роки тому +3

      Hi. Oh yeah! It cuts more and does finish polishing well on most paint. On softer dark paint you will definitely still see some micromarring from the microfiber pad. But that’s easily removed with a soft foam pad.

    Fun video, thanks Phil. Did she really bump you with the car or did you fake it? Hilarious either way. 😁
    What kind of cord are you running on your Bigfoot? Did the OE cord wear out, or did you replace it from the start? Also, what extension cords do you use with polishers? I've heard a low quality extension cord can damage and wear out your polisher but never noticed a problem myself. I use middle of the road price wise because I'm OCD and toss them after a couple years. Plus the premium style extensions are thicker and heavier to pull around everywhere. 👍👌✌

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks!! Yeah she actually did! 😆. I relaxed the cord a while ago, it was cutting off while running it and Kevin Brown from Buff Daddy actually told me to replace it with a heavier gauge cord, the OEM ones tend to burn out quick he said. So I got an extra long 12 gauge extension cord and it was easy to replace it. It’s best to use 12 gauge cords for extension cords also. But now we use the SPTA cordless polisher. It’s amazing!

If you decide to use an aerosol wear a mask like you would with a rattle can when you paint. Applicator type trim protection used after the paint correction and sealant would be the best procedure. Great Video of a entry level vehicle trashed paint from a trashed paint job. Thought you lose that MF cut pad for sure with paint tint transfer. Which cuts better 3D speed or TWHSCPW? Paint enhancement or a 3 step? LOL

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks. Yeah the pad cleaned out pretty good. But some tints like that will stain the pads. But that’s ok it’s just color. It’s hard to tell yet weather 3D Speed or Polish and Wax cut better. I’ll have to do more testing on more types of paints.
      Thanks!

      Oh sorry on this job I used the regular flat LC pads. I thought you were referring to the Hybrid Solutions pad. But it’s not the Hydro Tech pads. Just the flat LC pads.

    What's the reason behind washing the wheels after you wash car?

    • @jwill9877
      @jwill9877 4 роки тому

      And that car was obviously in a front end accident. In one of your shots at the begining of the video, the hood lines did not match up. They stuck out like a sore thumb. This car had a half @$$ paint job and in my opinion needed a light wet sanding before your correction.
      The reason you your pad was blue is not because it was a one stage paint job. It's because the clear was tinted to help blend the old finish to new finish. It's still a base coat clear coat finish.

      It’s just our process. Everyone has their own way of doing things. Since we work together it’s fast this way for us.

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  4 роки тому +1

      Yeah probably it was in an accident. It was an ex cop car. Customer didn’t ask to have the headlights refinished. And it was single stage paint, not just tinted clear. But that’s ok...you aren’t here working on the vehicle to see what we see. Please refrain from just saying things that you think you see.

    Thats not a polish, if u want to correct use ultimate compound meguiars, after that use ultimate polish, THEN use ceramic wax by hand.

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  4 роки тому +2

      Why would you say that? It actually has micro polishing agents in it. It was designed to be used by hand and primarily with a DA polisher....not sure where you obtained your info...I've talked with the chemist myself...plus this is an enhancement not a correction, it removes 50% or so of the defects. I use this all the time in this way and it performs incredibly well.

      Miranda Detailing yeap, I mean this wax is for correct minor scratches or swirls, is like turtle wax color magic, 20 years ago wax an incredible wax, but it says polish as well, and color magic is more like a wax than a polish, is just for minor swirls

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  4 роки тому +1

      No it’s completely different technology. I never said it’s for paint correction. This is for paint enhancement. Which is for minor swirl removal. It does polish and remove swirls, not just covers them up. I’ve been testing this fir months now. Not sure where you are getting your info. Please do more research or try the product yourself.
