Thank you for simply showing the cars and the sounds they make.
There was something truly special and exciting about the super car/exotic car styling of the late 1960's and early 1970's. No cars before or after have managed to look so good.
Facts
indeed
Great video, and the BMW M-1-WOW what a car!
bad bob + Thank you and have a nice day :)
Thanks for the great Video from the nice cars awesome Sound good time by thomy
Thank you !
As a Miura guy, I have to say... the car missing here is the Daytona. Two best sounding production cars on the planet.
This video truly brought tears to my eyes
i could be wrong, but the countaches that were shown were built in the 80s, im pretty sure they were the anniversairy models with the body kit, i think they were the only ones with that wing. again i could be wrong please correct me if i am. but this video was great i love your videos so much, theyre perfect i get to look at all my favorite cars and get the specs and i get to hear the engine and watch it drive real quick. you make sure you include as much as you can in the couple seconds for each car and you do it just the right way. these videos are addicting, keep making them!! i have a suggestion too though and its not even a bug deal, but can you include the weight for all of the cars, maybe you do but i dont remember seeing wieght, but i amvlooking at the cars the whole time tbh. but anyway keep it up!!!!!! 10/10
Late 60s there was only a handful of Miura's in US. I saw two. I still get pleasure seeing them. Wish I could sit in one.
That Lancia Stratus. What a machine. Maybe an honourable mention for the Lotus Europa.
A cool bus.
Muy bonito y entretenido, gracias.
Paco Cruz Molina + Gracias señor
Nice work with some great cars. I always loved that Stratos.
Also, I wonder if you have some Ferrari Daytona footage somewhere. Probably the most romantic car of the era.
Those cars were neat looking . Unique.
Cool BMW M1,still looks better thaan most modern BMW cars:)
Countach and Miura are true super cars in those days..
Looks a lot like the Detomaso Pantera that came about 7 years before the M1
@Tropic Lightning Not true. The car could have used a little more development in 1971 when it was brought out...of course most first year cars are riddled with problems. By 1973, those problems were pretty much solved and the 1973-74 Panteras were exceptional sports cars ---- for their time. Yes, you can get a specialist to "upgrade" it with better brakes (you don't need a specialist to put on Wilwood brakes), better air conditioning and add slightly more camber and possible better shocks (adjustable) and then like any other car you need someone who can fine tune all the little changes. Jay was right, with a few little changes here and there is would make a great car for today. But, that can be said about any 1970's sports car.
Great footage of some great cars but more information would be nice.
First! Also, must say that including the Khamsin has been very smart!!!
I love this channel because it features domestic and foreign cars that I haven't seen since I was a kid. That means a lot to me mostly because I don't exactly have an affinity for computers with exhaust systems that are styled like laxatives or come off more looking like mobile, bubbly land whales. Combustion just rocks.
Miles C. Anthony + Thank you sir :)
The muira was a outstanding car surprisingly it was but together behind furrocchico lamboghinis back
Really first class, difficult to get better viewing.
My two favorites here are the M1 and the Pantera, very cool cars. Those for me at least stand out the most :) 3rd I think would be the Aston Martin, and then I dunno, the Bora maybe.
Good list, even if the Miura was grandfathered in from the 1960s in which it was launched. My favourite is the Maserati Khamsin. Like the Miura, it's said it was a bit of a brute to drive and the front got very light at speeds over 120 or so. With those gorgeous upswept ends and glass rear panel, who cares?
Both were designed by Marcello Gandini, just like the Urraco and the Pantera in this video.
Love all these but The Pantera was a great car. Next, The Lambo Miura. 5:46. Sheer beauty on wheels,.
Agree with you ! :)
Que maravilla!!!
Some nice cars on here, but some glaring omissions. Lambo Espada, Ferrari BB12 Boxer, Ferrari Daytona, Porsche 911 Turbo (930), Porsche 928, Maserati Merak, De Tomaso Mangusta, the Lotus Esprit, Alfa Montreal to name a few, and the Stratos? Ralley Car, with very few available to consumers.
Yeah they had it that's one of my favorite cars I never had
In Italia c'erano le migliori auto, terra dei motori 💪
Gravity tugs at my Jaw @5:28, on looks alone whatever came before or after this legend, may as well be a breadvan.
I dropped my peanut butter and jelly sandwich with chips while test driving a
Did I miss the Ferrari 512bb? That was the best looking supercar of the 70s.
I agree, I'd have the original 365bb on par with the Muira in looks, different but equal, but by the time the 512bb came along the Miura was no longer in production so the Ferrari was competing with the Countach which was a bit like chalk versus cheese. I think the Countach is ugly but what am I to know.
The 512 was faster than the countach around a track and it looked better. One car I loved when I was a kid was the lamborghini bravo prototype,I found the marzal a fascinating prototype too.
u missed the 1970 maserati ghibli
Love the Pantera! Lol!
Where's Alfa Romeo Montreal???
You can see one briefly behind the red Miura
Stratos is just stratospheric ! What a look ! Not so sophisticated, but it's one of those cars, like the Austin mini, that came from a flash of genius. No room for confusion, at the first look you know who it is. A genuine masterpiece !
Restored a few 70s lancias and the Stratosphere was always my wet dream followed by the 037. But then again, I'd be dead already. Saw a Stratos race and talked to the driver. If I understood him, he said driving it was like having a fight with your ex-wife.
@@ronmiller7916 :-)
They better have the Pantera in this video
As usual, Italian cars are the most beautiful ♥
I beg to differ, check out the Bolwell Nagari convertible.
@@murrayleewilson0755 The Bolwell Nagari and many others like it copied the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO.
@@mauriziotagliatesta No it didn't, it looked better, more like the Lamborghini Miura actually and need I remind you that the E type jag was generally considered the world's most beautiful car along with a number of Aston Martin models?
The Miura is the most awesome supercar EVER, but it's more a product of the sixties than of the seventies.
Miura is timeless, but one car not on this list that can match it's looks and was still in production during the early 70's was the Maserati Ghibli. Sad that Maserati went back to the Ghibli name a couple of times since then, but the original is off the charts! In fact, I guess I am showing my bias, but every Maserati GT in the 70's was incredible- Merak, Bora, Indy & Khamsin!
nice video. but, 6:10-6:36 White & Black Countach is replica.
Lancia Stratos it's a beast
Yep! So nice.
Did I miss the Ferrari Boxer? You have a shit ton of rare/oddballs and that is skipped over?
2:11 look at number plate carlsa means carl(cj) from gta sa
Ahh, such beauties, but let's give credit where its due: more than half of these iconic lovelies owe their essential design concepts to one car--an American. Though it wasn't a production car and doesn't belong in this video list, the 1964 Ford GT40 launched an era of design that lasted for decades. And though the Euros (especially Italia) truly rule the exotic car landscape, forget about it with Shelby, Lunn, Broadley, and the the boys....
Where´s Lamborghini Jarama and Porsche 911 Turbo?
Fun fact: all the Maseratis back then were named after winds.
De Tomaso Pantera とLancia STRATO'S がええな~♪
The Miura SV does belong, since it came to market in the 70s. Where is the Ferrari 365/512 BB? Where is the 911 Turbo? Yes, the Urraco was that slow.
Would love to own a Pantera
Plantera.... incredible car ! Thanks allejandro
See you missed the Allegro out.
Italdesign M1
Why does it seems like most cars from that era have the same taillights?
No Porsche 911 Turbo?Shame on you
W8 the best sound 🎶🎵
oil crisis what - oil crisis - the countach it had more angles than supermans ice palace - had to be a good driver - driving aid = steering wheel.........
Skeet. Skeet. SKEEET.

- I don't have the car.
- Still have the wife.
Hmmmmm...
Ahh and now they are like a 100 000usd that could have been a good investment
8 italian cars, 1 italian design car, 1 english car... where is the rest of the world?
They simply weren't doing great cars lol
Where was the lotus esprit?
3:52 Look at that truck go ...
That's not a GTB...
Si fue un error. En realidad es un 308 GTS. Con todo, fue un buen vídeo. ¡Saludos!
Iso Grifo with Corvette V8 engine in..best looking..
The blue Aston Martin is not a DBS V8, its an AM V8.
Where is the Ford GT!!???
Where it should be, in the toilet
if you're talking about the GT40, it's from the 60s
Ford brought out the Detomaso Pantera as a replacement to the Ford GT40, which was just not capable of being raced on Sunday, sold on Monday. It was just too brutish for the US buying public.
For me Pantera, Miura and the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale thats not in this video cause its from a decade earlier.
BMW M1 isn't car 70 but 80 85
1978-81
Both Countach`s are bad made replicas in this video!
And neither of the Astons is a Vantage?! What muppets put these videos together??
ランボルギーニはカウンタックを越えるデザインの車を作って欲しい。
No Ferrari Daytona? Or did I just miss it
Me.encanta el countach el Ferrari 308 gts el detomaso pantera el lancia stratos🎉
@zeta85886 tienes un gusto perfecto :)
Bmw m1 4 real the best car
Lancia 037? 😳
?
Both the Countach were replicas
✌️🤠💥🌞
The first Aston Martin showed was a DBS from the late 60s. Sadly all of those would get blown away by modern hatchbacks
I,ve got most of those cars..............IN POSTERS.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
BMW-M1 大好き
Back then when there was more power in a car that equally with a person as well . ( I have the P O W E R !!! He - Man ) lol
ランチャストラトスみたいな車が活躍するWRCを復活して欲しい
i think i found the one
Accidents with dead please
lambo coutach for me
Sorry but the Miura belong to the 60´s
jorge monteiro actually its is the miura SV made in 1971
Where is the Lotus Esprit...
No US car on the list??
No!!
Pantera had Ford running gear, but no...what US supercar was there?
@@geographyinaction7814 Err pink Cadillac? Lincoln Towncar? Hmmm - Plymouth Valiant? - Yeah, US cars still had/have leaf springs and frames build from H-steel bars...
The 1970s was a truly sad time for US cars. The decade of 88 horsepower Mustangs and 165 horsepower Corvettes.
The australian Ford Falcon GTHO phase 3 should have been in this list as it was superior to a couple of these cars.
LAMBO COUNTACH THE BEST SS OF ALL TIMES
Pity about the fake countachs
it sounded like a V8 rather than a V12 which the real countach has..
ANDRÉ SOUZA DE CERQUEIRA
BMW M1 DESIGN BY LAMBORGHINI AUTOMOBILI
Pantera GTS is better, but still awesome car😀
1974 Pantera GTS and standard Pantera L were exactly the same car, same engine, same tuning, same suspension. Only difference were the riveted on fenders, clock and slightly wider tires. Other than that, they drove exactly the same.
This is back when automotive craftsmen knew how to design cars. Today its such a lost cause it literally reeks!
Italian cars always the best ! Vantage AM is orrible!
Aaron martin 💓
No Marcos??
Faltou o belo detomasso
Mangusta
The BMW M1 is later 70 it's 80
All.this engine revving makes me laugh
:) Have a nice day !
best car ever made is the Ford Pinto, the racing model with twin turbos and lock-up transmission. The factory knock off wheels can be hard to find
