A bright light at Happy Valley: Lily Duong

Bright, engaging Lily Duong has a passion for teaching that stems from her personal experience in high school. She grew up in a warm but busy household-her parents owned a pho restaurant in Burien, and her grandparents, and three siblings-and later her sister-in-law and niece-made for a bustling home life. To help her focus in school, she sought out the college and career center at her high school, where she forged strong bonds with counselors and mentors.
