My youngest just committed to WSU not sure if he will play hockey but happy to see others have the same feeling from the school as we did.

Congrats! If he is looking or thinking of joining the Hockey program, let me know so I can put you in contact with the right people. Go Cougs!

@@gbresani thinking he just wants to play beer league, he sees what his older brother is doing and doesn't want to take away from school. Also, I think the team should be good with goalies 🤣

I lived in Perham Hall, and an overhead shot looks like they have disconnected Streit Hall from Perham Hall. When I was there 70-72, they were connected (actually twin dorms) by a circular dining hall between them. Then they turned the Diining Hall into the Housing office; now it looks like there is a square bldg between the 2 dorms, and the connector between the 2 dorms is gone. Boo hoo....how can they mess w/ my memories like that. !! LOL. Go Cougs.😊

You probably won't believe it, but it's true.......I broadcast the first ever game from Martin Stadium....on KWSU TV....it was a Pullman HS game...Sept. 1972. HS team played there before the Cougs did. The north stands were still the old wood stands and a temporary press box was installed at the top of those wood stands. The South main portion of Martin St. hadn't been completed yet, but it was just a skeleton of the "new" Martin Stadium (aka Rogers Field.) The previous 2 years after the Rogers Field had burned down / arson, the Cougs football team played their home games at Joe Albi Stadium in Spokane. The basketball games were all in Bohler Gym (before Beasley was built.) so....packed in crazy mania for games. If the womens' basketball mgmt. were smart they'd play at least a few games in Bohler gym each year to really understand how cool a packed Bohler can be, rather than the cavernous mostly empty Beasley Aud.
