Probably the script can be improved.
Big mistakes in that run: He knocked me off the claw mid game which is unlucky,
And i failed to tenderize the hindlegs at the end because the claw put me on the arms... This cost me a loooot of time

I love that after the third or fourth topple, the Handler is basically like, "STAHHHHPPPPP, you're not supposed to have so much powerrrrr, leave it alooone"
Honestly an incredible run. Well done, that makes me want to play bow at this level.
So far my best Solo time was around 20 minutes, you're still a God as ever with the Bow 😁 Thank You for this run, it was Therapy watching you kick butt that hard after what I've been through 😫.... Now I'll learn from it and credit my shaved down time to you 😃

@@chadikhr7258 ... The old Alatreon was hard because of his stats, hitboxes and the lower player damage/mobility in older games.
In terms of true variation and difficulty, this one beats the old one by a longshot.

That’s inspiring, I’ve been trying really hard to get the hang of bow. It’s nice to see what one can do when you a pro with it. I do feel like your spreadshots have more shots than mine for some reason lol

Phenix there’s no limit to the amount of topple afaik, but 4 is the most i’ve seen
I think 3 is the limit of weakenings, not topples. You can get the animation go off, but it won't weaken Judgement further after the third one.
Kind of late, but Rage gaming used mods to test this out
And you can topple him as much as 9 times (using modded elements), but he stops weakening the nova at 4, and the optimal stop is at 3 (for weakening).
Past 4 topples the damage is not reduced but the difference between 3 and 4 is barely noticeable

Well this has inspored me to keep trying to beat him with the Bow. I always get carted cause it's so hard to dash dance with all his shit everywhere. I've only been able to beat him with LBG so far, and that's in 25mins at best, with 2 carts lol
He's also using evade window so try that
Love how all these people doing speed runs on alatreon while when I go it does a speed run on me, current record 2:10 landed in front from the Drake RNG blesses me with flame breath+ thunder combo...
You only drop in front of him during special assignement. Whe you do the event quest you only spawn in camp

This may be just me but is anyone else salivating over the thought of an "Where Angels fear to tread" type quest? With either Tempered or AT Alatreon? The armor would have to be dope af tho.

Special assignment is considered more difficult, you wont be starting at camp because of the stupid cutscene and because of this, you wont get to prep yourself with demondrug and so on.
Beautiful run, maybe helpful but around time 3:30 right after the KO swap to para to get a few extra seconds of max dps before it turns dragon mode.
You need para to dunk him when he flies in dragon

Sadly, I'm a gs main and this fight is a real struggle for me. I seriously don't get what the developers have against non elemental. They nerfed it, buffed elemental, Safi doesn't have a single pure raw damage weapon...and now we are forced to play with a elemental weapon because otherwise Escaton Judgement will kill you.
I fought Alatreon a lot (back in Tri, Tri U and Generations), and I gotta say I liked trying different strategies (pure raw, status, elemental, clust, etc)...the new Alatreon is nice, but I still think unavoidable damage, forcing you to use a certain type of damage and locking farcaster are artificial difficulty - not a good game mechanic imo.
Ronaldo Natali GS has the lowest times of all weapon, i think Olay got 6:30 something? As long as you get 1 topple you’ll survive, and you should br able to do massive damage to the head. I don’t play GS so i can’t help, but i recommend watching Olay’s run, it’s very good
@@LyonOlivier69 thanks, man, I'll check it out - although I'm just an average player, and I can't do crazy stuff like I see pro players doing all the time. I've beaten Alatreon running a Frostcraft build with critical element, which seems the best I could get to make elemental to work on a gs, but I still think I could do better.
@@natalironaldo Ala has special modifiers so that slower weapons do more Elem damage
@@pamafa3147 oh man, that's some good news. I've got Alatreon Revolution and buffed its dragon element to 1160, it's definitely making a good difference during the fight too.
@@natalironaldo I'm not a huge numbers guy but most helpful MH youtubers are saying it's only worth to run the opposite element of what Alatreon starts in. So depending on time of day I think. If he's ice, you should bring fire. If he's fire you should bring ice. Seen a lot of Velkhana GS used, and maybe even Anajanath for fire. Not sure what is the best best. Dragon is okay but definitely not the most helpful. Good luck Hunter!
Awesome video Tidus69 great run! you've inspired me to try out bow now after 1000 LS and CB uses :) I would love to know what the mod is called that gives the blue charge aura with the bow and if it is available in pink or purple.
I don't know that it's available in different color, but it's called "bow of fire" :)

Any reason you go for hindlegs and not forelegs? Forelegs should yield higher damage right?
I don’t do it for dmg, i do it because it takes more ele damage, so it topples faster

wait what, forelegs have higher ele hitzone, so it makes sense to topple with forelegs right? It's 22 on forelegs vs 18 on highlegs. Hindlegs have higher raw hitzone.

Its really sad that both his elemental AND his shot values are dogshit, but then again most monsters in iceborne have pretty bad shot values compared to sever values in particular.

Good run. This match is so bad with bows though. Alatreon's hit zones are bad everywhere. I was even thinking of using Frostcraft to improve my run xD.

Damn man nice run, F for the hindlegs tenderize at the end, and the lighting hit at the middle of the run. Ala is not that great with bow, fuck this hitzones man, meanwhile DB Ta is more than a minute faster lol, guess I will farm him as melee, he is so much easier, all CB/LS/GS and DB getting nice times, even IG.

Higher ele hitzone I'm guessing. 18.7 on legs vs 14.3 on head according to kiranico.

Forelegs also have more elemen, slightly more than hindlegs. But its small size makes it hard, you might ended up shooting belly
What the hell is this build how are you doing so much damage ? I have the alatreon bow and its not doing nowhere near these figures ?
Dragon isn’t good on alatreon. Unless you use fatalis bow but then it’s more for the raw damage

This was a great run. 👍👍 How do you hit the wall bang at the start. I've done it many times myself but I miss the wall everytime.
Just dodge the roar and he's in perfect positioning everytime. 2 slaps to turn him around and then fire the slinger ammo. Just like the video copy it. Evade window 3-5 can make it easier or if you don't have the room in your build you can use rocksteady or evasion mantle. Or even glider mantle if you want to use it for the decoration slots.

Sir, I just want to ask, I'm just starting with bow, and I'm dealing like 10-16 dmg per arrow, is there a secret to deal "normal" damage?
Your build.
Mandatory skills for bow are:
1. Mighty Bow charge decoration and Minds eye jewel . This gives you a forth level to your bow arrows which means more damage as seen in the video after every shot done the next one is more powerful...it goes up to 4 then from there you can dash around and shoot to maintain the lvl 4 damage arrows and minds eye will make sure that your arrows will always do the maximum damage regardless of the distance
2. Elememt attack up decos (depending on what element your bow is e.g fire, ice, dragon, thunder or whatever, but you must Max it out to level 6 e.g fire attack level 6.)
3. Normal and spread attack up or JUST SPREAD ATTACK UP decos. This gives you even more damage to your arrows e.g normal attack up gives your normal shots more damage, spread gives spread shots more damage and piece gives your dragon shot more damage etc. My recommendations is just go with spread attack up.. That's where you will be doing your big dmg numbers with.
4.critical eye and critical boost!!!...
CRIT IS LIFE AND LOVE A MUST HAVE your goal get your bow to 50% crit Base reason is it will go along with the next skill you need.
5. Weakness exploit.... Like mention crit is life and love. Weakness exploit gives you 50% total crit on tenderised parts.. That plus the 50 Base crit is 100. Elemental bows benefit from this alot...together with crit boost weoooooooo damage!
6. Constitution. This is very nice to have but shouldn't be prioriised before the previous skills.... This allows you to do more combo shots with your bow as it really drains alot of your stamina.... Having constitution lv2 + dash juice = constitution level 5.... So stamina management won't be a pain.
7. Stamina surge deco.... This is not mandatory but having your stamina recover quickly so you can go ham again is always a plus... It means more dps because you have less downtime.
8. Whatever attack buff skill you can fit in ( resentment works well with safi, peak performance works well with not safi lol but sliver ratholos for example.).
Note: raw damage bows are fine only on a few monsters...just make sure you have a bow for each element covered.
Note: I don't know what kind of bows you have but I can recommend a few sets.
Safi full set is really good ( this set I recommend) and even better if your bows has alot of elemental damage like the alatreon bow as safi gives you more elemental damage + 40% crit which gives you room to fit in more skills and works really well with kjarr bows since they have critcal element. Think the kjarr water bow sucks compared to safi because it has no power coatings. Any bow without that is just a lost cause lol.
Sliver ratholos is also good if you want to run peak performance. The set has true crit element good for elemental weapons like bows, guns, dual blades, sns, switch axe etc...bad thing about sliver ratholos set is that the pieces barely have much slots to work with.
Optional stuff
Mantles....These are a few choices.
Evade mantle gives you more damage when you dodge stuff so it's good... If your used to using bows.
Impact mantle... I mean you saw the video... K'o = more dps lol (again better used if your comfortable with bows and the fight)
Rock steady if you can't dodge that we'll...Especially roars that interupt your combos or wall bangs.
Temporal If your really scared of being bullied lol xD
Gilder and assains mantles are both good for just extra decoration slots to fit in more skills and they last really long and have really short cooldowns.
Just mess around keeping the skills I mentioned in mind and practice how you maintain level 4 spread shots and stamina management and you will be OK.

One thing I wondered watching this, how does wounding a part work with a light weapon? I thought it was always 2 claw attacks then weapon attack but is it different if you are wounding the part for a second time? Can you reset the timer without clawing again?

Nice run man. I’m looking at doing a bow build for alatreon but unfortunately I’m unable to do multiplayer which means I don’t have access to safi armour or weapons. Does anyone know of a good bow set able to take him down without safi? Please help :)
