I had a C5 Z, a C6 with a cam/stall and a 1992 red on red corvette LT1. I loved that C4, it was my favorite of all 3 Vettes. Now I have a 36 mpg 4 cylinder car that does the same 1/4 that my C5 Z did while having heated seats and a badass stereo, all the tech stuff etc and I love it. But I would still love to have a ZR1...

@@ryanslattery2977 Atypical ricer talk, without modifying your car that car is slower than a c4 even in the 80's, with your baby 2.0 liter turbo charged engine that runs on brown rice. If you're going to tune and bolt things one, then you'll also have to modify the car you're racing against. You ricers always compare your modified and tuned car to a non tuned/ modified car. I'll race that VW trash with my C8 for pink slips, you can tune or bolt whatever you want to on it, when I win I'll drive it to the junk yard and scrap it.
Gosh this makes me so upset with myself..I wish i could go back in time to make better decisions about the direction to go in and mostly i wish id of had the courage and discipline to follow through that had i id know what this would feel like. Yes I’ve driven both. My 90 had the stock gears and this 93 has the 4.10s. A good difference in personality around town. More lively, less lazy. I don’t feel like it makes the car any quicker though.
Really special engine. C4 ZR1’s are criminally under-appreciated.
Not really they’re like 35-40k now but they’re definitely amazing cars one of my dream cars
