this is the kind of thing that makes you realise that its not just as easy as ''typing in commands'' despite what the copyright people are saying at the moment about AI art.
That is very true! It took me a couple months to figure out how to make Hellraiser look like a whimsical comedy. I didn't think it could be done. lol
Yes the copyright people are dumb, and way out of touch with this technology. They do not understand how it works, and they never will. If you have a simple prompt like "dog" for instance, there is not much information there. The AI will choose the best representative for "dog" and generate a picture. In this case since there are no other parameters, the AI will choose from it's database the best picture of a dog, and it might present you with someones photograph, or drawing of dog. But! If you say "Dog with gun on a carnival cruise" it will show you something no human author had anything to do with. Artists are the most arrogant people on the planet, I know because I am one! lol
@@bannedfromearth9819 i'm an artist too, and i love AI art. especially for making reference pictures that i could never find any other way. a lot of people think its weird when they come across one of us that LIKES AI art. but its cuz i still remember when people had the same argument when adobe came out saying ''its not real art now anyone can do it'' etc. at the end of the day they are just tools. And i think the only people who they affect negatively are the ones not willing to give them a chance. And yeah the copyright thing is weird. they said its because you're just typing instructions. If thats the case then surely every computer program created can't be copywritten either cuz they are literally instruction sets. It feels like too many systems are run by out of touch old folk, and thats coming from me, and im 41. lol.

I'm not sure what the copyright laws are covering AI generated art, but i can see all of your work eventually being lifted by-ahem!- i mean "inspiring" so many other artists, i wonder how long before we start to recognise your work in others. i definitely think Wes Anderson needs to see your art, and science fiction film needs Wes Anderson! no matter how impressive a sci-fi film can be, so much of it is simply another colonialist battle but with different clothes and tech. not the kind of ideas-based science fiction, writers like Philip K Dick and Samuel R Delaney created. how do we get high-end science fiction cinema without resorting to explosions, gun fire, and hordes of beings running/flying towards each other screaming "Raaaaar!"? Can it be conservational, comedic, and largely avoid the conflict? how many third act/last 20+ minutes of a film are just a prolonged fight sequence with an almost inevitable outcome? if you see the opening sequence of "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" (and it's probably the best part of the film), it would be far more intriguing to see the idea of diplomacy at work, the exchanging of ideas and cultures, and the successful avoidance of conflict, even just the once, without what we're entirely expecting...the uncovering of a villain and how we kill them! in the meantime, i expect we'll soon see your hats on the runways of Fashion Week, and your cake designs (or designs overall) in a Cake Challenge/lifestyle show.
