Just use non-acetone nail polish remover to clean the panels and apply a coat of clear nail polish to cover the panel. Job done. I've got 35 of these lights and it only takes about 45 minutes to clean and reseal them all once a year. The lights have lasted me 15 years and I've only replaced the batteries once.
Thats fast? Acetone is to remove chemical right? Is dust a chemical? Just try it, come back here and tell me “im right” dont just sit there and tell what you think!
If they get cloudy I polish them with rubbing compound or wet sandpaper. Then I spray with clear coat. Better yet , don't buy the cheap plastic pv cells, only the glass ones.
Do not follow any of this advice. You will ruin your lights. Other videos will show you how to fix your cloudy lights like you would cloudy headlights on a car.
Actually, the heat will crumble it and eventually comes off by piece. Then, either you can redo it or try another method. But it lasts me awhile to do that at least.
Check batteries n wires inside. I bought 6 around 25$ from homedepot. Amazing they r still gud after 2yrs ...1 of them got water inside but after cleaning n rewire the rusted. It works again.
Look up how to fix solar panels and find the one that has I think 4 items. One of them has sandpaper and bottle water to spray dirt and something about spray to keep them clean and look new again I swear it will work I never did it but I trust that person that did I it.

@@PreviewVlog I did my lights both ways. Acetone was faster and easier. And better.
Ok. Gud to know. Thanks

Maybe youre right but my lights are still working.
They're already trashed.. so worth a try to get them working again..
I guess you can also spray paint the black part
🙄
Just nail polish remover is enough!
Really? Have you tried it? I used some goose gone remove and it did not work out.
Your music was about 10 times the audio level of your narration.
Thanks for feedback. Will fix
Won't the sun and heat mealt the tape onto the solar panel and make it sticky ?

What would make a person think Resolve would be the chosen clear for lights? It clearly says Upholstery Cleaner.
I tried n did not work. I guess they just say what they think...
Had brand new lights with new solar batteries and they stopped working like in a few days.
