Absolutely love that Charles. I have a son about the same age, maybe a year or so younger and can't wait to take him to his first Arsenal game. He's Arsenal obsessed as well. Such a special thing to be able to share with your boy and your dad and a good win (albeit a stressful one!) to go along with it. Enjoy every moment mate.
Brilliant Match Reaction Charles, what a day for Luke to remember, great win and a dominant performance. So good to see the all 3 generations of the Watts boys together.
Man of the match is an obvious choice: Excellent home debut, was ever present and found himself everywhere. Didn't shy away when called into action. Calm solid display regardless of little experience at this level. Luke Watts is my MOTM. My favourite episode so far. Cheers Charles.
Lovely stuff from your dad.. that’s Arsenal True & True.. remembered me and my dad going to games while growing.. such fun memories and bonding.. COYG👏🏿🦾
Get in Charles !!! Loved the Vlog and a testament to your channels ecosystem that you included your son! One of my favourite games since I had a season tix along with Bournemouth and United last season. Big up love the channel keep it up
Extra high Wattage show today! This game was perfect for Luke because it showed us that one should never take anything for granted! I'm sure he will enjoy this memory for a long time esp with your great little vlog! Thanks for sharing this wonderful moment!
Even higher wattage today with 3 x Mr Watts, especially Watts Junior’s score prediction is not too bad at all 👍🏻 Hope Luke enjoyed matching his debute game at our home today, and continues to make our next-generational fan base strong!
Great to see Luke enjoyed a winning first day well done Grandad for providing the ticket 💜 and good reporting as always from yourself 🤓😁 I was listening to the official Arsenal commentary, Nigel Winterburn is such a great commentator, tells it how it is, diplomacy goes out the window, brilliant! Up The Gunners! 🥳🥳
Calafiori was very lucky to stay on the pitch honestly.. we more than deserved the win, but the way we switched off to start the 2nd half was not good enough
I honestly disagree, it was a foul but Partey had the ball and not every foul is a yellow card. Ndidi should have been se t off the kicking the ball away By tHe lEtTeR Of ThE LaW!
Hey Charles. Bit of strange that no one seems to point out Rice's below par form this season. He isn't the worst player but he isn't the best player on the pitch either. I know that he had Euro with him and it would be very demanding for him physically. But i think Rice should drop back to No.6 position. Playing him at No.8 with out Odegaard now makes his attacking and defensive ability both inefficient. Merino and Odegaard all have to return if we want to see the best out of RIce again. Also, next season we will certainly be with out Partey and Jorginho and we should definitely sign a long term No.6 or No.8 to complement Rice. Striker and Winger position needs to be addressed and big money should be put in but it's also the case of midfield area as well.
What a top man your dad is Charles, giving up his ticket and letting your son go and watch his first Arsenal game! How about do a once a month show with your dad about some iconic Arsenal history games he watched at Highbury? It would be great veining for us younger fans! Thanks as always 👍 coyg
LOVED the vlog-style video! Loved the pre and post match scenes. Love the fact that Luke got to attend his first Arsenal match, and what a thriller it was. Loved the whole feel of this video. Well done Charles. And well done THE ARSENAL ❤️🤍
What a magical day! I still remember my first game - home to Sunderland 1990 - The sights, the sounds, the smells! I can still hear the man bellowing out Jumbo Sausage! as we approached Highbury. Anders the Super Swede went down in the box and Lee Dixon scored the only goal of the game from the spot - My favourite player ever since. :)
Glad he a great time, the first of many!! When I lived in London and had my tickets I took my nephew to his first ever match, one Xmas Vs Newcastle, we won 7-3. He was hooked for life !!!
The boys had to make the day ultra unforgettable for the both of you 😂 Happy you got to create the special memory with him. Cheers to a million more! 🎉
Beautiful reminder of what it’s all about. Trust me I want to see us lift a trophy so desperately this year, but we need to remember always to enjoy every moment on the way. . Thanks for everything Charles.
Lovely Charles! Happy he got to see a win! These moments he will never forget. Lost my grandad 2 years ago last Sunday. Reason I support the club. He took me to my first game at Highbury that was actually against Leicester too. Hope you guys had a top day, was a bit shakey but, was excellent scenes at the end at the Emirates! 3 points all that matters!
What an adorable video. Mate i am so glad you did this. Those moments whej you know what is happening and it could go wrong is actually ehat hope and believing is and an immortal lesson for him. Big up Charles
Loved this video!! Nice to see your family and nice to get a little more insight into the vibes at the stadium. I live in the US so it’s very tricky to get tickets for the games but this makes me even more excited to go see a match in person at some point.
Hi Charles Great day for you and young Luke for his first game and I’m sure he’ll remember it for the rest of his life. It brings back a lot of memories for me. I remember you speaking about your first game against Sheffield Wed in 1989 and I was there suffering as well. As you know it was part of the title run in that year and it was a horrible game, but it was memorable for one thing, which was my mate Gary calling Gus Caesar a ‘Plate of shit’. I was helpless for the rest of the game. On to Jan 2000 for my eldest son’s first game against Southampton. We won 1-0. On the way out he we were speaking about the game and he asked me ‘Daddy. What’s a wanker?’ I told him it's a special word for the referee and don’t tell your mum. Finally, the first game for my youngest was the 49th game of the Invincibles. Lee Hendry scored first for Villa and William (who was only 5 years old) stood up and cheered the goal. I had to explain to everyone it was his first game.. It was a bit awkward, but I also remember it being at the time the best I’d ever seen any Arsenal team play. It was the invincibles at their very best and could have been 10-1. Great times and great memories. I hope Luke has plenty more of those over the Arsenal with his dad! Cheers, Richard
mate i was thinking about you and the wee man all day today. so happy and for you both what a first memory with dad. hero vibes. off to LA monday will be joining the west coast gooner community send us some love
Absolutely loved this video Charles reminded me of when my Dad took me to my first Arsenal game which actually believe or not was the Danny Welbeck Leicester game! Being Irish we never got to go to many games. Luke must be the good luck charm he's got a 100% record! I was at the game too today had a long travel journey down from Sunderland (studying there this year) and then back up would of been a bit of a difficult journey back if Trossard hadn't put that corner away. Still cant get over how comfortable Nwaneri looked do you think he should start vs Southampton or should he continued to be eased in assuming he wont start vs PSG.
Happy first game for your son. Luke was very close with the scoreline and goal Scorers. I remember when I took my son to his first Arsenal game. It was 2 years ago, I think. Arsenal vs Wimbledon in the cup, we won. I didn't tell him that I was taking him. His little face when he saw the size of the stadium. 😂. Ethans cameo was WOW. Can you imagine if he scored that goal. I think it's time he starts. Saka and Timber link up play was brilliant. I honestly think White might struggle to get back in at RB.
Congratulations Luke, what a first game! I’m a 29 year old diehard gooner from Melbourne AUS. Finally managed to see my first ever game last year and it was the West Ham 2-0 disaster loss… Glad your first experience was more enjoyable than mine 😂
What a beautiful memory for the 3 generations of Watts! And what a game that was! After Leicester scored their first goal I just knew another one was coming. The complacency from the Arsenal players was not a good sight. Happy for Martinelli to get his goal, he’s looking revived having Calafiori on his side. A few times in the games Calafiori has played, I thought his positioning when defending could use a little work. At times during today’s game I really missed Martin’s cheeky passes putting Saka or Timber through, but when Ethan came on it was a breath of fresh air. Looking forward to PSG!
love everyone talking about your son. love that double wattage!!!! as per the game - i said that trossard was the man for hte 10!!!!! and gaby is back!!!!!!!
Ah mate, the look on Luke's face seeing the legendary stadium on game day for the first time....I remember my first time, always special. Good on Luke.
Such a heart warming video, what a great day for you and the family! My son is 6 and starting to get really into it now, I'm wondering when is the right time to take him to his first game... As a father I feel so nervous about picking the right game to make sure it's a win for his first game, so well done Charles on picking that one for Luke! A very special day for everyone, Luke, you are welcome to return to the emirates anytime! COYG!
Double wattage! Well done Charles and mini-me!
Triple!
Triple wattage at the end!
Triple wattage!!!
You are a great example of what a dad should be, involving their children in the lives, sharing their interests and passion. Well done!
I think it is brilliant to see three generations of Watts going to an Arsenal game. Nicely done Charles and Luke, what an experience for him!
❤
I watched this grinning from ear to ear the whole time. Wholesome content and a win for the Arsenal! Luke is a good omen!
Easily your best video. Congrats to Luke!
Proud Dad Day Charles. Wonderful times and great to have it on video. Tear in my eye!
What a first game for Luke!!! He’ll be remembering that for sure

Lovely to share your family experience with us, Charles. That is the essence of your authentic approach.
Calafiori was very lucky to stay on the pitch honestly.. we more than deserved the win, but the way we switched off to start the 2nd half was not good enough
The first foul shouldn't have been a booking, but i agree with what you've said
Talk about that Skipp challenge on Saka too.
Not as lucky ss Skipp tho… outragous that he stayed on.
chill mate, that was class enjoy it
I honestly disagree, it was a foul but Partey had the ball and not every foul is a yellow card. Ndidi should have been se t off the kicking the ball away By tHe lEtTeR Of ThE LaW!

Hi Charles
Great day for you and young Luke for his first game and I’m sure he’ll remember it for the rest of his life. It brings back a lot of memories for me.

Been watching since the begining and never commented. Just wanted to say this was my favorite video.

Oh Geez. Missed this yesterday. I'm a sucker for a boy with his dad. So lovely!!!
That said, he may grow up to love Tottenham!! Just saying. It's possible! Lol.
Good performance from Martinelli. Here’s hoping that ankle isn’t too bad. It would be a shame to lose him as he’s finding his form again.
Love this! Amazing day out!
Congratulations Luke…you should be at every game. Close prediction too buddy.❤
Ah mate, the look on Luke's face seeing the legendary stadium on game day for the first time....I remember my first time, always special. Good on Luke.
Happy for win home, happy for u Luke, Dad & Grand Pa, its 3 point for all of us(Arsenal family) 👍

I thought about you and your son, what a first game! My son is 9, but we are across the pond and I am jealous as hell!
