It always starts with one person with a vision. It doesn’t matter if it’s a business, political movement or a mc club. The minute that person decides to act on that vision, it has been born. If it’s a mc club, it’ll need members of course. What you talk about is a standard and quite limited “inside the box” concept. Clubhouses, officers and certain type of bikes etc. Who says it must be like that? The coalition? The 1%:ers? Who? I know my take on this topic will receive lot of hate and pisses people off but there is actually a bigger world out there outside of that quite tiny and strictly regulated circle. But with that being said, it is wise not try to imitate the circle. Go outside of the box and do it all the way!
@@BikerProtocol Let's add this up . 1. President 2.V.P. 3. Sargent at arms 4. Treasure 5. Road captain Then a few soldiers. I feel like I'm forgetting something but that pretty much covers it ,for starting a club .
@@dalepotter6918 I’m thinking outside of the box. You don’t need officers and politics. Solid bylaws and vote is all you need. I know it sounds controversial but all the drama I see destroying club dynamics are because of hierarchies, money and not knowing/following your own bylaws. But, I’m focusing on solid clubs with no more than maybe 10 dudes that are in total sync.
Roberts Rule of Order is essentially what most clubs are based on as for hierarchy. RRO says a minimum of 5 must be present to have a quorum. More than 5 is left up to the club.
R the members who stop 🛑 traffic at intersections picked by Road Captain ?? Also is the member at the back of the ok who takes position to hold back traffic & moves in from of cars so club can move over into next lane picked by who or is it a volunteer & can it change from run to run?? The HA were I live has struck rules when Clubs right with them. That’s why I’m asking ? If I’m not riding with them I never pass them unless the back member waves me on. I never pass a single or anyone wearing a 1% member has that changed now ?? That’s what I was taught in the 60’s. Thks for info Enjoy the Ride ❤👍🏽🇺🇸☠️
You are right about passing. The respectful thing to do and the protocol would be as you stated, wait to be waved on. As for the position you speak of, that is a "Tail Gunner" or "Road Blocker.". Some clubs choose them and others volunteer. On rides we have had that were bigger than most, we have had other clubs volunteer to help block traffic.
When our brothers are out . Depending on the intersection , 4 lane intersection the 2nd & 3rd row of 2 behind lead bikes brake off , blocking & then take up the rear after pack is through . Depending on size of pack & distance of run , you can rotate & block multiple times . It's safer than having appointed blockers racing to the front to block over & over..

I'm pretty sure, it takes 9 . And that is why they are called the first 9 . I totally mean no disrespect.
Isn't that how anything great happens... Or even bad things that happen? An idea turns into a following that turns into a life of its own.
@@BikerProtocol pretty much.
@@BikerProtocol Let's add this up .

As far as I know, they need 9 . That's why they have a patch that says first 9 .
But I could be wrong. I'm still have a lot to learn about MC culture.

@@BikerProtocol That makes sense.
1. President
2. V.P.
3. Sargent at arms
4. Treasure
5. Road captain.
That makes 5
Do the 1%er’s follow RRO??? In “church “??
I can't speak for them but I would think they do. RRO is the founding principal for establishing a quorum.
