Ive had a few QX80's. Two I leased when I worked at the Nissan Battery plant,. I recently bought a used 2016 QX80, that was well taken care of. I like everything about it. The only con I would say is that it loves gas. A lot. Agree, getting into one after a smaller car, is a learning curve. Great review.
Appreciate your support and insight on your ownership! Definitely true on the gas part from what I have learned, which does make sense for such a large SUV.
Hello I’m looking at buying one with about 75k miles on it? How long do these trucks last if well maintained and anything I should specifically look out for??? Thank you
@@Josh-hv5ni They have a good track record for being reliable over time. They do suggest synthetic oil, and premium fuel. So just take in account the cost of daily running. Tires are not cheap, so if you can get one with good tires, that's a plus. Also, check with your insurance, because the more highly optioned they are, the more expensive. I wanted a theater package, for my family. So that is one reason I bought one with it. Adaptive cruise control is a great option, as well as their technology package. Mine will automatically break, which has saved me a couple times. One at Walmart from a pole, and the other backing into another car. Which I would have most definitely hit both otherwise. The heated seats and steering wheel are nice, and if you get the cooled seats, thats a plus. Mine has remote start, and its one of my favorite features. Especially when the weather is cold. Just remember to crank up the heat before you shut it off the night before. If you choose black for the color, just remember, these are very big vehicles, and take extra time to wash, and clean. I have a silver one that does not hardly show dirt. Which I like. Mine was a one owner, and had all the maintenance records done at the dealership. Good luck. Let me know if there is anything else you have a question about, and I'll do my best to answer. I love the ride, and they have plenty of power. Nothing better on a long trip. They ride so comfortable. I absolutely love mine. And they are tall enough, where you can look down on others. Just kidding. I thank God he's allowed me to have one.

@@StandingTallAutoReviews It will get up, and go for its size, but the gas mileage, and my wife prohibits my lead foot, lol. Great review b.t.w.

I like the 2016 better than all of the models I got the signature edition I like this truck very much my favorite truck
Good to hear! They seem to be very popular SUVs from what I have noticed.
Hi Jared it’s me Brady I haven’t seen you in a long time
Hi! We have not but hopefully we can sometime soon!
Thanks so much, great review
Glad I could help and appreciate the kind words!
The headlights are bi-xenons not LED. Only the DRL's within the housing are LED's.
Lets talk about the transmission.
The 7 speed? Ok.
@@richienicholson9122yep. That’s where I agree.. Beautiful truck. Terrible trannys
