I had a hard time finding other realistic rhinoplasty videos showing the extent of the swelling and the regret😅. Those first few months are very rough! (the 6 month update will be better 😜)
At what point did it stop hurting to touch your nose? I got mine done on Tuesday, I didn’t have my bone broken so I didn’t have to wear a cast. I also had a blepharoplasty done at the same time so my eyes were the main area with the swelling which has now gone away and moved to my cheeks but it’s getting better. Don’t have any bruising aside from under eyes. But I’m wondering - when will I be able to put makeup and return to full skincare routine? Nose is still obvs sore. Took my tape off today and so swollen. I’m also someone that generally swells (don’t drink much water and tend to retain water in the organism). When did you feel fine touching your nose with pressure?
As someone who also swells ALOT, I totally feel this. It took about 3 weeks for me to feel ok putting on makeup and skincare (very carefully and barely pressing down). By 6 weeks I felt back to normal!!! Good luck ❤️
@Leabeltramino HI! I'm 2 weeks post-op, and I could breathe the moment I woke up! No stuffiness at all. I love my nose, and I can breathe better and smell things again. It's amazing 👏
please get to a different surgeon. it should not be THAT swollen and getting infections. run from that Dr. nose looks way to bulbous for having surgery
I am now 2 months post op and the swelling at the tip has resolved itself. Revision rhinoplasty with thick skin and extensive tip work always swells a lot more. The general rule of thumb is that it takes many months or even a year to get the final result. This was definitely true during my first rhinoplasty. Every nose heals differently, especially the first few months, but thank you for your concern - I totally understand where you are coming from.

Does it hurt to sneeze after a nose job?
For a few weeks, you have to sneeze gently with your mouth open (into a tissue) but within a month, it feels back to normal
@@Leabeltramino What if you for get to open your mouth when you sneeze then?
Then it hurts 😅

Im having surgery in 3 days. I'm so fearful of not being able to breathe through my nose. Im afraid im going to suffocate.
Luckily the suffocating feeling only last until the cast comes off!!! Good luck!
@Leabeltramino Awww a whole week? Lol! Thank you for your reply.
