A lot of this I learned through reading Tony Robbin's first book, "Unlimited Power."
I bought that book in the 1980's and was the best $10 I ever spent.

Right? For $10 (back then) you got the blueprint on how to work with your mind constructively. This truly is powerful stuff!

I learned nlp in the late 80’s and I use it all the time, it’s become a part of me and how I move through the world. A lot of the beginning techniques have evolved into more eloquent and elegant patterns.

I knew someone who was a huge fan of Tony Robbins methods and I can boil it down to extreme confidence. Tony is extremely confident for sure, the problem is people's insecurities are too complex and nuanced for Tony's quick and dirty mind tricks but they are good tips.

Tony mentioned he got lucky with the snake intervention because some people are too closed minded to handle snake. What he did is helpful but may not work all the time with everyone especially if they had deep traumas.
