- 100 Unique 1-Ups is a meme speedrun of Super Mario 64 which has showed me just how little I know about this game.

Ever since I ran All Signs, my desire to explore more of the meme speedruns SM64 has to offer has only grown. 100 Unique 1-Ups is a very similar feeling to All Signs in the sense that it showed me a lot of the game I haven't really noticed, and it actually makes for a pretty good speedrun.
I will be attempting to go for World Record in this category as well and maybe pushing that to see how low it can go because this speedrun is pretty dang fun!

Seems like a cool category. I hope this gets more popular I bet there’s a lot of tech and routing to be explored if players start pushing the category
This feels like sm64's minimum captures, where it has the most insane strats.
yea theres a lot of customization too because theres other 1-ups we may be able to fit in the route

There is a 4 corner 1up in the princess' slide, in the spawning room.... Like the one you got in the slide in tall tall mountain
When you were talking about the other secret aquarium, I thought it was gonna lead to one of the subscribe rooms in simpleflips’s videos.
this is called 100 unique 1-ups, but why does the challenge end when you get 100 lives? You start with 4 lives, so that means you only get 96 unique one ups.
The counter doesnt go higher than 100

Corrections to the 1-Up counts: HMC has 3 unique 1-Ups (there's actually only one Monty Mole in the toxic maze, it just teleports between the three holes to give the illusion that there's more than one), and BitFS has 7. The total would still be 121.

I just want to say that I have played Mario 64 for most of my childhood and I did not know you could touch butterflies to get 1-ups.
