I'm so jealous of that half pipe, it looks so mellow and lovely and good for learning! Here in Nottingham the only skatepark that has something like that is made of wood and falling apart 😭
great explanations! thank you for talking about weight transfer because it is not visible, and yet is essential. I love your videos and I can't wait to learn how to do that too. I think I'm lacking speed at the moment.
I've been struggling with stalls for a few months now (I'm a really slow learner which is annoying) and my main issue is not being able to roll on to the coping and using my toe stop to step on it instead... do you have any advice about that? I've been trying to wean myself off of it but it's not going very well...
Good question and is something I used to do as well! I think there’s a couple of ways you could approach that. One might be too practice airing out of a transition till you get the hang of that and get used to landing on two skates at the same time. Another option might be to embrace it and turn it into a one foot stall and then put your second foot down (even if briefly) on the coping before re-entering the transition? Both options can help to change your muscle memory and reach your feet to work together. Hope this helps!
Hey, I appreciate your feedback about mentioning protection but as you can see I’m very safety conscious! Im also not interested in comments about what I wear in the videos I make unless of course there’s a reason (e.g., my pasty white legs blend into the concrete and you can’t see what I’m doing 😂).

Oh no! That’s terrible! 😥
Good tips. Thanks Elizabeth. I haven't been skating for 40 years and forgot all i knew. So your tutorials mean a lot.👍🏻
Soooo tricky! Thank you for the detailed and to the point video
