    I really think this is the best live version of run to you, because the acoustics of the church make their voices sound so beautiful!! Much better than mics!! Love it

      jep, I was there, it's by far the best version they ever sang from this track. They never got connected like this again as far as i can tell
      maybe it was the lack of sleep :D

    People underestimate Kevin's voice. It is straight up beautiful and I think they should give him a solo. Or pair him with Kirsty or even better Avi.:O

    I absolutely adore the fact that their live versions sound just as whole and skillful as their music videos. It just shows the amount of talent they contain. (thank god it isn't auto-tune)

    can i just say a few things A) kevins voice is absolutely beautiful B) avi when he sang full on was amazing C) kirstys voice sounded like a angel D) scott and mitch slayed

      +LittleMiss Whovian He's paired up with kirstie for the "take my heart" part and later for some "I'll run"s which is when I could hear him best. Listen for the compliment to her part and I think it's easier to hear

    I love Avi starting at 2:45 especially- I adore his upper range because we rarely hear it. And how he grounds himself before going to his bass notes about 3:10. It's wonderful hearing Kevin sing :)

    I'm glad they played this concert in a church. The accustic in a church on songs like these makes it even more beautiful.

      Well, singing it in a structure specifically designed to resonate with the human voice didn't hurt either. ;)

    I love Kevin's part in this. His is that harmony that clashes a bit with the rest, that dissonant harmony that makes it interesting. Honestly Kevin is my favorite, ahead of even Avi in my opinion.

    This was beautiful! The acoustics were great! I could hear all the parts, even without microphones & that's usually impossible (especially with Avi's low notes). It actually made the emotions of the song a thousand times stronger. Thanks for sharing!

  • @ohifonlyx33
    @ohifonlyx33 7 років тому +6

    I love them all. But I have to say I have a soft spot for Avi and his voice. @2:45 Avi is the mellow bass of the song and then he slips up into this angelic (baritone?) range around @2:50 and then drops back to low bass by @3:06. And you won't necessarily even notice he's done so, unless you're paying close attention because it's so effortless and smooth and balanced and blends perfectly. And he does it so gracefully. **insert aside remark about Avi's hearteyes and cute lil smile and ofc his honest, never lying, always truthful hips being just a few extra reason why he's my fave**

    Just think, three out of the five learned how to harmonize like this at a high school in Texas... there are several videos out there where they visit the school. That teacher better get paid well. It always amazing to me how their 5 voices can seem like 50.
