I know it's pretty early to say for sure, how does Memorial Day weekend look for my area?
Memorial Day is unfortunately looking wetter and slightly cooler, Temps in the lower 70s, but Sunday & Memorial Day look rain and stormy with a front in the area. Saturday may end up the driest day of Memorial Day Weekend. I will
keep an eye on it and keep you posted.

I am surprised by that too, it seems the Western Pacific east Asia region has been very quiet as far as tropical systems so far this year.
A storms in Fernandina Beach Florida
Great question, definitely a lot of storminess tonight and overnight in Fernandina Beach Florida. I expect much of the night, especially between 1AM and 3AM where the worst of the storms will move in. Some could be severe with wind and hail, but a lot of lightning will be likely. Most of the storms will move out of your area just after sunrise Tuesday morning. But a redevelopment of storms likely Tuesday afternoon between 1pm and 8pm with a severe threat increasing throughout the day in Fernandina Beach Florida. Will be a stormy next 18 to 24 hours in your area until this storm system moves east off the coast late Tuesday night.
