Finally, a sidekick who, while a little clumsy and goofy, is actually pretty good at his job. I also like how his boss actually likes his companionship on some level. It's pretty rare seeing villains treating their sidekicks with genuine appreciation and respect in cartoons and it really counts for something when the Devil, the master of the dark and embodiment of sin himself, is one of those that do.

Why would a villain keep around evil lackies if they are just big dumb idiots that can't do their jobs right? That's what is great about Henchman, he's goofy but he's still good at his job, and worth keeping around both on a job-competency and companionship level.
I love how he gives Stickler the sweater. Even tho he doesn’t like him, he knows he’s important. Pretty pragmatic for a character played off as kinda ditzy.
no one wants to be around stickler. i guess it makes sense. if the obliterator COULD make the sweater come off (as in, its not 'locked' on the wearer, then it makes sense. no other demons gonna go snatch the sweater and the devil is actively avoiding stickler too.)
also that he knows the devil is never gonna touch stickler by accident and thus get hurt by the sweater, given the devil avoids him at all costs. a very smart move by henchman on multiple levels.
When the devil admitted about the soul debt expired and henchmen wasnt happy about it either hes like "boss I love ya but that was something u shouldn't have told ur worst enemy right now..."

Henchman is my second favorite character my first being King Dice. At 1:36 I like how Henchman saved King Dice if he didn't pull King Dice behind the rock King Dice would have gotten burned like those demons.
Man.. the devil is really bad at his job. Hell would collapse in a week without Henchman keeping an eye on him. I would not be surprised if most of the rules we're recommendations from henchman which the devil took credit for

Henchman deserves better. But at least he's not constantly tortured.

He can get vacation days, I’d say he has some pretty standard employment.
What I like about him is the fact that even though he's not very bright, he is NOT incompetent. He's very good at his job and KNOWS what he's doing.
Henchman is like that guy you can hang out with after work. Too bad he's a demon.
