Little Nugget wanted a video tour of his favorite "Ceiling Fan Store". (Lowes) With Little Naw Naw in tow, we were off. Hope you enjoy, please comment.
I want to thank you for posting this video. My 19 month old loves fans and I was surprised to find another little boy who loves fans just as much! We tour our local home depot, and visit various restaurants just for the fans! We watch this video together almost daily... my child hates to eat, but he'll gladly eat while watching this video. Thank you SO MUCH! Chris is so cute, and has helped us tremendously.
I am 40 years old but as a kid I judged people on how many ceiling fans they had. The more you had the richer you were. I’m happy to report that I proudly own a house with five ceiling fans. By my 1987 standards, I’m rich
When I was a little boy, I was just as interested in ceiling fans as your kids are. We had a Hechinger (I don't know if you remember that store) near our house, and my parents would take me there just so I can look at the fans. Even if they had to go there for some other reason, they would leave me in the ceiling fan section while they pick up what they need to pick up. I became friends with the employees that work in the ceiling fan section, and they (most likely just to be funny) said they wanted to hire me. I remember back in my day, stores that sold ceiling fans, including Hechinger, TruValue, KMart, and WalMart actually had the fans on display running. I guess the stores' lawyers decided that there was too much chance that the fans can fall or the display can collapse if the fans run.
Amazes me how many kids there out that are crazy about fans. Thing about it is... they seem to have a deep connection with the physical world, like at the part where he recognizes that if the fan were to spin, it would hit the pole. How many toddlers do you know that already have an understanding of physics? I was the same way growing up with fans, but, hey, it is what it is.
My 3 yo fan fanatic loves this video. He yells and claps with your sons. He repeats words you guys say. He calls this video "The Fan Story". In 30 or so years I envision him making this video with his kids :-P. Thanks for posting! I bet your children are so big now!
Just watched this with Gus, now 4, who has adored ceiling fans since before he could speak. We should compare notes 10 years from now to see how this fascination morphs. I laughed out loud and thought you did an awesome job with both your nuggets.
Thank you so much. I really hope Gus n crew have a good time with us! And, we are getting a lot of requests for more. So, I asked if some of the other stores in town would let us know when they have new fans on the shelves. They actually agreed, and send us emails already. Look for more, or subscribe to see when the next one comes out. It will be very soon. Thanks again!
I'm still like that, and I've been doing the exact same thing since I was in a pram. But in the UK, it's hard to find a ceiling fan store with fans that you like (Quality brands etc)
GREAT!!! So cool!!! I have so many more videos of him in the store's, and some he took himself. I will get those posted asap!! I found that there is a large amount of little ones that love ceiling fans. Chris loves windmills too. Might want to see if your little one does to! Your post made our day. Thank YOU too!!
i have two fans in my house they no longer make installed a 36" inch smc Laguna Spinner Ceiling fan made in 1989 and a cec spinner fan that was made in 1986
