This is real bad PR for the Dodgers, in light, with the other situation of Shohei’s implications of Gambling. Shohei lied that he met this woman with the baseball. This is a reflection of the Dodgers feel about their fans.
dodgers know that ball in the japanese market would get 50k+ , so if ohtani really wanted it he would've had to bid on it like everyone else. these teams are corrupt to their core. she should look into suing them , dodgers would settle quickly and she would get the money that she's owed.

yea those authenticators are crooks , they won't authenticate for any normal people at the games , tons of incidents have happened with them at just about every ballpark. but that's why you have cell phone cameras. you just need proof you caught the ball (telecast video) and then take a video of the ball and it's scuff marks just after you caught it for when you go to sell it on ebay. dodgers did that girl dirty , i doubt the ball is worth 100k but in the japanese market she could of got 20k - 50k for it. she should demand 2yrs of lower level season tickets where she could then resell most of the tickets for money to make up for the money she lost.
at every mlb game the authenticators sit near where the sideline reporters are. but they won't authenticate any ball that a normal person has/caught , mlb has some shady rules like these authenticator rules to screw over fans at the game. if you look on youtube you'll find a bunch of videos of these authenticators denying fans trying to authenticate balls , and they don't give a reason why they won't do it , they just ignore the fans who're asking them.
If it was me who ends catching or getting that Baseball... I would just walk away via an escort with my brothers and into the parking for my car.... None of their staff would have been able to get away with their silly browbeating to give up that Baseball... And sign up with a Pro sports auction house and start at $100,000.00
