I'm still geeking out at the fact someone made something from a mod of a completely unrelated game. For those of you who are wondering at 16:14, Ares is 1 of 4 "Exo Mech" bosses from the Calamity Mod for the indie game Terraria. (Same game The Destroyer worm creation comes from in one of your Scrap Mechanic review vids.) The first gun (The red one) is indeed a laser gun, the second one is supposed to be a lightning gun, the third one is supposed to be a volatile plasma launcher, and the fourth one is supposed to be a nuke launcher. The chest laser in game is actually a hexagon pattern that you gotta spin in a circle around to avoid, but idk how hard that is to make in this game 'cuz I don't have it.
After trying out these epic community builds, you could also try out a community suggestion! Day 139 of asking for a Multiplayer Monday in survival mode where everyone starts at the crashed ship with a craftbot in the mechanic station. Everyone has 30 minutes to build a vehicle from scratch, gathering their own materials. No glitches, thrusters allowed, after which everyone meets up and races their builds
Scrapman, don’t forget to use the map in the airborne expansion, and also I think I figured out why you can’t see some power cores on the map but they exist, it’s basically like the vases and books and stuff in the high seas, after you find the one on the map, then it will take you to a different power core. Hopefully this helps!
@ScrapMan for the drill at the start, The geometry is made of straight offset objects, If you draw two circles with 12 points with a offset of about 30° of about 30°, Just connecting the points with a ruler, will create a curve that looks kinda smooth, And would look like this mesh on the model...

10:00 until the metal was detached from the buildings the physics weren't calculated properly, so the shockwave from the ground contact with the immense mass of this creation acted as a catalyst, where it would detach some metal, which was then repelled by the magnets and started a cascading chainreaction of the metal knocking more metal loose.
fun fact, i belive the last creation is based on the XF 09 ares in terraria's calamity mod. looks sick! looking forward to seeing Thanatos, Artemis, and Apollo be made in this game as well
