I'm really digging Scrapman as well as Instruments of Destruction. Started playing IoD very early as well, it's awesome to play through all the updates. One of my creations was once in a showcase episode, that was also pretty sweet. Hope Scrap keeps enjoying making such videos, love the faces he makes.
Hay Scrapman can't afford this, But I feel surprised you have not tested the power of the wedge in the front of your vehicle to see if cutting the air would drive you perhaps in to the ground more, just testing if a wedge would affect any unseen aerodynamics. I really enjoy your innovative touch. Also canons + thrust = ?
In IoD, are there attachment points on the outside of the wheels? Im just thinking like Scrap Mechanic. If you stepped the size of the tires up as you add them outward, should give you a lot more speed if so..
14:30 you could use gyros to keep straight, they have a direction checkbox thing. (I don't have IoD, I know this from your vids). Keep making great content.

So you know how with your super fast gun planes in trailmakers? 400 isn't the max, with the mini cannons mounted directly behind in a 4, 6, 6, 4 pattern, I could achieve 650 comfortably, but going past that they would then be overcome.by speed and shoot themselves. So the max velocity achievable with gun power is around 666 kmph.

I think you missed a possible option, gears. Wheels and rotors may not have enough speed by themselves, but it looks like an rpm cap, so what if you had gear ratio change torque for rpm?
day 53 of asking scrapman to do a multiplayer where everyone starts at the crashed ship with a craftbot already at the mechanic station and everyone has 30 minutes to build a vehicle from scratch, no glitches, thrusters allowed, after which everyone meets up and races along some road
can you build a homing missle in trailmakers with out remote control that would be to easy ist a realy fun challange and i didnt see a trailmakers missle ever
scrapman you should have tried breaking the sound barrier with gravity/going up then speeding straight down because if you reached the sonic boom speed before you hit the ground then when you do hit the ground the shockwave effect would act like a sonic boom. missed opportunity bud. still great vid though
SCRAPMAN. I request that you make a jackhammer sonic boom maker thingy. Using the cannons to propell it up and down. Look at the way your cannon creation was making the sonic booms on the ground at the end I think this idea has potential

The thing in the video they provided is a Vapor Cone. Contrails are just a byproduct of normal jet engines at high altitude.

The game doesn't have aerodynamics only gravity currently so a wedge wouldn't do anything.
You can also attach grappling hooks to your own creation and spam retract them to go more than 2000km/h.

unfortunatly no, but you can build your own wheels and make them pretty decent if you use a few tricks.
Now we know what happens when you go to the backrooms in instruments of destruction
would be interesting to see how much would be possible with gear ratios.

There was an early glitch where you could use a ton of bomb cannons and hit the corner of a building to go infinitely fast and crash your game XD
Did anyone else notice when he started losing thrusters the speed went up
Probs cause those thrusters were going against the vehicle's mouvement, hence reducing its speed

drag is a function of velocity SQUARED, so the amount of thrust you need to increase your speed by a certain amount isn't linear

The same reason the gauss guns provide no further thrust beyond 1000kph is the same reason the cannons blow you up in trailmakers.

Six wheels was probably too many for the fast swivels, to be honest. I really feel like it would've performed better with four.
