They should have let Gold mentor Emma instead of Regina. It would have made so much more sense. It felt like they sacrificed him to redeem Regina, and that was just wrong, and despicable IMO. I've never liked Regina and never will.
Belle doesn't except who he really is she only wants the better never the worse. Emma doesn't really love Hook. You can tell when she looks at him. Not saying these two should have a romantic relationship but there damn well should have been some tight sexual tension
I think they'd be a better couple than Emma/Hook or Rumpel/Belle, actually. Emma would accept Rumpel as he is, both light and dark sides. We already know he admires her a lot. Belle doesn't accept Rumpel's dark side, and Hook is always selling Emma short. Yeah, I think Emma and Rumpel should get together! They have incredible on-screen chemistry, more than the other couples have. I never liked Neal/Baelfire anyway.
I love this scene. Even if Emma and Rumple still had their disagreements/fights afterwards, this was a moment of mutual respect.
