I usually don't watch K-drama, even though I'm a Korean. However, this drama gave me a genuine shock to me. Because it's a mixture of high-teen rom-com, noir, spy-action, superpower-battle, and alternative-history. Usually if contents are consists of too many genre, it's easy to fail. But this drama managed to mix them all with a great success. I'm almost dying to w8 for last episodes to come.

strength also bc if you remember that scene where Huisoo and BongSeok was running late and they bumped each other at the school gate which got Bong Seok thrown so far he got elbow wound. Bong Seok was wearing a lot of weights always on his body plus his backpack full of them so i'm guessing Hui Soo has super strength also :))
I feel like his father didn't have super strength but he was pretty strong for average human (his power is not super strength like the autistic dad). He was able to do so many shit with his strength bcs he push up beyond human ability. How he broke the wall, how he tore that car. It's not bcs he has the super strength power, but bcs he pushed himself beyond what he can do. And it worked bcs everytime he broke his hand trying to break the wall, his body always regenerate as if it wasn't crushed at the first place. That same amount of force he put to break the wall amd it break his hand continously, and then he just heal everytime. That is my theory, and he is just fking badass for that. The same force he aplied everytime he try to tore the car or break the wall from the skewer and ect. Heeso too, didn't have super strength like that. She was able to win from the bully bcs she always back up no matter how break she was. If she was so strong, she would have kill those kids pretty fast. But no, she was beaten up really bad but she always get up and fight. Just same as his father, but she never pushed herself beyond human abilities, she never did what his father had done. It make sense since the child and father live different live. Hee father is former gangster living really rough life, her life might sounds miserable tok but at leash she had her dad and she never had to deal with violence until she's in high school. But just same as heeso's father, for average human she's pretty strong. I feel like if she got into training arc just like Minhyun and Doosik, Heeso would get the best score / the best trainee agent just like minhyun.
He's just trained in it. Hee-Soo just doesn't know how to use it. The reason he has this power is because normal humans have a limit to how much force they can exert without fear of breaking a bone or tearing a muscle. But he doesn't have to have those limits because everything heals, so he has more strength than most people. If Hee-Soo can learn to push herself without thinking about those limits, she too will become as strong as her father.
Episodes 8/9, 10/11, 12/13 and 14/15 are like season2 (Parents' stories). Please, react 2 episodes together. Then, 16/17, and 18~20. together, too. Parents' love stories with much more gore and blood and finale.
I'm definitely not condoning Frank, but you gotta admit, he's been screwed over bad by life. He obviously hates his life and doesn't want to be killing these people.
in korea minors cant be convicted of a crime. they can literally murder someone. starting from 14 to 18 they can be convicted but they pretty much ignore everything. so bullying can get out of hand because no punishment. schools think of their reputation a lot and korean parents are crazy so they try to handle it in house.
The next episode is about parents. Prepare plenty of tissues, especially if you watch episode 13. You may end up crying like you did in episode 6 of Squid Game.
