- How to ride long distance on your cycle, riding long distance on your bicycle is very easy and not difficult anybody can ride for long distance like 50 kilometer and 100 kilometers and above.
Checkout this video where I am riding for 100 kilometers on my MTB along with my friends.

I recently did a 42 km + 42km. Started at 5:15. Couldn't see a thing at start unless there were other vehicles. Fortunately, the road was a highway so minimal potholes.
U did a good ride n then filled ur buckets with fast food 🤣
I guess it was the healthiest option available there. Pan cakes with honey :)
I rided my Normal Cycle ( BSA PHOTON) over 60kms a week before, tht was my 1st half century ride, I didn't planned for it, I just kept 1 water bottle, while coming back home @ somepoint my Lungs didn't got sufficient Oxygen, I didn't took breath for 6 to 7 seconds, I was trying to take Breath by Mouth , after some times , I became Normal..
I thought that was my last day.🤣
Never do mistake like me , 1st just Ride over 6 to 8 kms , thn incrsase gradually ..

Always one needs to build a good stamina for riding such a distance . If u r a beginner build ur stamina first. Telling from my personal experience .... Senseless ho jaoge chalate chalate....I rode 75 km ,without practising and while returning home my thighs got numb...

I completed my first century ride yesterday at Bangalore. I ate dates during rides and drank water and glucose solution. Gear kept on 2-5 most of the time.

For a 100km ride, how often do you suggest we should take a break and how long can those breaks be ideally?
You can take based on your preference and stamina. No need to rely on others. If you have good stamina and power you can take rest after every 15 or 20 kms
First break after 40 minutes of Riding. Second after 30 Km passed. Third break after 50 km. (This is long 20 minutes break), Fourth break at 62 km. Fifth at 75 km. Sixth break at 82. Seventh at 91. Eighth break at home.
