I like that you can see the grain through the paint, the Epi 339 I bought my wife some time ago does not show it and it immediately looks a lot cheaper to me.

That sounds good! I've thinking about a Bixby for my 335, just for the added mass and pressure on the top. The light color stain makes the 3 layer lam maple body look a lot lighter than the mahogany neck. Thanks much Ben!! 8) Peace --gary
