I hadn't really chosen a science curriculum yet so I appreciate your ideas. Again, my daughter is the same age and grade as your daughter so it is helpful to see what you have planned. We do co-ops too which integrates science as well and I have depended on that in the past but know that is supplemental as she gets older. Thanks again for a you do!😍

I am SO excited for Waldock Wizards and Wands this year, so much fun! I'm considering getting the Sassafras series to use as read alouds too, not necessarily the log book love the animal letters too, may have to grab that. See this is why I stopped watching everyone's videos - I tend to but all the things lol. My kiddo loves the Magic School Bus Kits too, I should pull those out again!

I haven’t decided what we’re using for science yet. I think it will either be A Reason for Science or Science in the Beginning. I want something experiment based. We’re all about the experiments over here!

For a read aloud in first grade would you recommend Zoey and Sassafras or The Sassafras Adventures? Thank you!

Both are great. But Zoey and Sassafras is so fun for that age!

I want to use sassafras , but I afraid the writing is to much , do you think using along the audiobook works good, or the activity give more or learn more? My son want the audiobook, but I wonder if is better I buy to the book?

The audio book works well. You could also get the teacher manual and do the projects/experiments and just skip the scidat log.
