You need an artesian well. I use that water for irrigation and it does wonders for the yard.

I use an RV water filter on my water spout. Takes out the chlorine and bad stuff in tap water. Been doing it for years. You should try them.

Sounds good, I only question the price especially as I'd need multiple filters the way my system is set up, at least 2 or 3 OR have to tap into the main between home and street meter.

i've got 3 rain barrels but only 1 left, been reserving all my saved up rain water for my newly planted fruit trees. I could go with 1 more good shower to fill them up again and give me a few more months of clean pH neutral rain water!

@@ranchoelguero8252 I wish I had room for 2 more but I setup 2 gutters for 2 of them and the 3rd I have under an area that gets a good steady stream from the roof. I have one still full that I'm saving for my avocado tree and my cannabis :P

I know rain water has ozone and that's why is much better than tap water

We had record rain here in the bayarea. I should have installed rain catcher in my down spouts. Use that rain water in the garden.

I agree and definitely see the difference in growth with all the rain we got this winter. Along with what you said my theory is the chlorine and chloramines in our water also kill alot of the beneficial soil microbiology which hinders the plant growth and health. Thanks for doing a video on this.

In so cal I think our tap water is now disinfected with ozone instead of chlorine!

it only rains here when plants stop growing lol

  • @zengrow3098

because our tapwater is full of chlorine and chloramine and has a high pH of close to 8

Water born diseases have traditionally slaughtered humans by the millions, chlorine insures against that but it's bad in every other way. How about filtering it out, too expensive maybe?

    • @socalbackyardorchard3768

Yes I have filtered before but it does get pricy

@@socalbackyardorchard3768 Yes I just did a little shopping on Amazon and it's 300 to $450 up front and then pricey filter replacements I don't know how often...that's for a high flow entire home filter.
