so if im rebending new lines i can use any prop valve as long as its 4040? im trying to abs delete a ex 93 accord with four disc brakes. i get i need LX DX non abs MC and booster but for the prop valve a lot of people were saying you need the 90-93 DA Integra one. some people were saying the 87-91 3rd gen prelude brake prop valve is also usable. please help really need help with this thank you so much sir
I had no idea the ALB was such a huge system, my 97 has a bad ALB system... so I may do the same for it. Interested to see the next steps in the process. That said, my big concern is replacing the prop valve in the 91... drippy brake lines are kind of a nightmare. As always, love the videos and the content.
@@ExtremeDailyDrivers I figured anything would work. The blown seal seems easier to fix than it is, so easier to buy a replacement part and bend the tubes. Thank man!
@@ExtremeDailyDrivers haha I like the attitude. I guess it depends on who's certifing the car for road use. Could get funky with the wiring to simulate an ALB check when the key is turned lol.
@@chucksaurus2602 I pulled the light from my ALB system and passed the DMV checks. They only use dummy lights, they don't plug into the OBD port... Americans are lazy though. I laughed my ass off when the inspector looked and said, "oh wow no lights, that impressive". I literally just pulled the bulb the day before :D.
I’m so stoked to find this video! I’ve yet to find any good informative videos on the 91 prelude. My B21a1 is a pain in my ass but I love it.
Agreed. I did 50+ videos on this car. Make sure you check them out!
Ahhhh the suspense is killing me lol. Great job Brandon keep up the good work there’s not to many of us around with these beautiful cars
looking forward for part 2
Good decision weight saving also 👊🏻
Hell yeah. Probably close to 20lbs altogether. Thanks for watching!
I’m gonna be doing this on my 99 civic soon

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your specific set up. Thanks for watching.
Hey man, looking forward to part 2.
Did you have problems getting the engine out before when you still had the abs fitted?
Nope. Comes right out. I'll be pulling it again for paint soon. I'll do a video on it.
AWipe... you might regret giving that to us :).
ALB sir :P
Actually, does anyone else have an issue with their proportioning valve? Can you just toss in any proportioning valve and bend it to fit?

@@ginnai Yes and no. Someone should probably answer this for me. Here is what I know....92-95 Civic p-valve works, as well as a non-abs 3rd Gen Lude.

Is there a video coming up about the videos coming up?? Jk another good video bro!
😆🤣
Wish this was allowed in my country. We can't remove saftey stuff like this if it came from the factory.
Who is going to stop you!?! Come on, Chaz. No one is looking under the hood of a Prelude.

@@ginnai we cant pass a warrant of fitness (WOF) if a light doesn't show. The previous owner tried that and yeah, it failed the WOF. Sucks man.
Did you leave the fuses out for the ABS delete? I am currently midway through this but thinking a bit further ahead.
It's also whack watching this - my master cyl and booster is on the other side of the firewall. Lol
You should be able to take the fuses out. However, I don't think I have. There isn't any weight saving benefit for moving them. Thanks for watching!
