If you’re looking to move to Seattle area, Bryce is your guy! Super knowledgeable and considerate of your needs.
People may disagree with his point on the weather, I’ll just say I love it but then again I lived a lot in Germany and UK, so very similar.

I lived in Seattle for couple years and to me, the so-called mythbusting that Seatle doesn’t rain that much is completely false. And such a tiring thing to see on youtube. The amount of rainfall does not matter. It is the duration of rains matter. People checking out the climate are only concerned about the inconvenience or emotional negativity associated with gloomy or rainiy days. And with that, Seattle should be on the bottom of your list. You don’t like rain, don’t go. It rains a lot. At times, you don’t see the sun for full month, imagine that if you hate raining. Stop suggesting the otherwise.

I've lived somewhere rainier than Seattle. And seattle rains A LOT. Yeah it's a true stereotype. Summers are nice though.

I think it's more of a misnomer situation. Because it's not the rain, per say, that gets people... it's the *overcast* ....constant, constant, constant, unrelenting overcast!!! for 9 months straight... it can be dry as a bone outside but you still won't see the sun🙃🙃🙃

@@chenanigans The thing is, regardless of it rains or not, you will just have to be prepared for rains ALL THE TIME when it's gloomy. That is quite an inconvenience and that's why people there wear waterproof hoodie all the time instead of umbrella. Therefore is my point is really about what people care about. People don't really care how heavy it rains, as long as it rains, you need to shield from it (inconvenience).
