THE IMITATION GAME is a nail-biting race against time following Alan Turing (pioneer of modern-day computing and credited with cracking the German Enigma code) and his brilliant team at Britain's top-secret code-breaking centre, Bletchley Park, during the darkest days of World War II. Turing, whose contributions and genius significantly shortened the war, saving thousands of lives, was the eventual victim of an unenlightened British establishment, but his work and legacy live on.
Director: Morten Tyldum
Producers: Teddy Schwarzman, Ido Ostrowsky, Nora Grossman
Writer: Graham Moore
Cast: Benedict Cumberbatch, Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode, Mark Strong, Rory Kinnear, Charles Dance, Allen Leech and Matthew Beard
THE IMITATION GAME is out in UK cinemas November 14th.

As someone, now 91 y/o, with a wrongful conviction for Gross Indecency I watched the film “Imitation game” last night in tears. This will do as much for the ACCEPTANCE of homosexuality as did gay marriage. THANK YOU SO MUCH Graham Moore, Andrew Hodges & the brilliant actor, Benedict Cumberbatch. from George Montague, author of “The Oldest Gay In The Village” (Brighton, UK)
its amazing to think how times have changed...and how far we still need to go!
Each time he talks, I wants to find the dictionary and better my English. His vocabulary makes the language sexy.
that whistle LOL
reminded me of drunk Sherlock scene / Martin freeman Sherlock panel :)
I just finished the film and I really enjoyed it. I actually wish it was a bit longer and went even more into the details of Turning's life. Cumberbatch's performance was unexpectedly moving; he seemed very "Sherlock-esque" in the beginning (arrogant, socially awkward) but then you forget that and really feel for Turing.
Gosh Keira’s so adorable
All of them seem very nice and very interested in the matter itself. Watching this will surely be worth it.
Paw to Paw It definitely will be! :-)
KEIRA ♥
Czech girl, yay! Really nice, and seeing more and more interviews makes me desperate to see it.
+ for Dagmara for asking the question about Polish cryptographers
