The Trammps were one the best bands of the discomusic. They were not only good musicians and played also in MFSB but they had wunderfull leadvocals in Jimmy Ellis and Robert Upchurch. Great mix also.
Juan Negron & Tom Moulton!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The Best ever with a Narvellous Tribute to The Kings of Disco "'The Fabulous Trammps"
I just love your remix of this jam...I was a DJ in Boston in the 70s.....I would have killed to get this remix... You have out done your self Lol! I remember dancing to this at the Garage, the Papillon and Boston Boston night club. Thank you for the wonderful memories... What a great era to be part of!!!
1975, I was 17 and sneaking into the local gay club, this was thumpin' on a pair of Altec Lansing A7 Voice of the Theater speakers, made the building shake.
Loving this more than the original from my teen years. Especially how he's brought a "fatter" feel to the rhythm elements. Thanks again Juan Negron... another great post. 🎶♥️🔥🔥🔥
Sorry Juan, forgot to mention, that your remix is fantastic!!!! You speeded up the beat, which really mskes the song come alive. I remember the orig. was much slower. With your excellent ear, you turned it into 100% DISCO.
If everyone on the planet listened to this tune at exactly the same time, there would be peace on earth for 9 mins & 41 seconds.
There will never be another like man and Larry LeVan❤❤❤❤❤

The Disco was the place for all people to come together. Gay, Straight, Cross dressers, etc, no one cared what you were. We were there to party!
Disco that is where the happy people go, from all colour.
EXACTLY, but no one was trying to force it down your throat, either. That makes a BIG difference. IJS.

Wow this rockin🎶thanks😎🔥
That was really nice!
I think The Trammps are so underrated when it comes to their contributions to the disco era of music.
Memorys of Bad Kissigen, West Germany 1976! Those German women are something else, and they danced like I didn't know!
Incredible
wow that bass

@@juannegron8053 Moulton speeded it up too much. Drum thumping heavily for no reason.
@@maggynewtown3500 yes the drums & kick are a bit more up front, but the speed is exactly the same.....I just A/B ed them and they are exact

SPETTACOLO!
TRAMMPS........ "THAT'S WHERE THE HAPPY PEOPLE GO"
A very sublime way of saying:
Thats where the GAY people go.
(Maybe it was too risky having a title of a song with the word gay in it).
they did not have that in mind when they wrote the song.....absolutely not.....
Ronnie Baker wrote the song after going to a club........
This is how conspiracies get started 🤨
