SMT V did Alice justice.
In all except her level & Die For Me!'s damage rating. I would've greatly preferred if she kept her Level 50 / Severe Damage from SMT IV: Apocalypse.
nah they made a great animation but die for me is garbage in 5
@Smash 123 yeah, the random 2-5 hit medium damage class of skills are actually on the high end of skills. They do about on par damage to severe skills to insanely high damage depending on the number of hits. They are at the very least stronger than the ma-barion skills. As the modifier for aoe skills isnt as high as random hit skills. That being said, Die For Me has a modifier of 120, and skills like Thunder Reign have a modifier of 150. They did nerf it unnecessarily.

Agreed overall. "Die For Me!" can especially deal a lot of damage when combined with the "Omagatoki: Dance" skill.
Alice is definitely one of the most well-respected demon/persona in Atlus games.
Not as much as Jack Frost tho
I would say she's in top 5 of smt most popular demons

I like how the P5R one they “Resist” but still dies 😂 Alice is amazing
She was resisting her imminent death, but failed
I wonder if being weak/resistant to curse affects the chance of the insta kill happening
@Jevil it does but even with resist if you have Mudo boost the chance is still there. Just like if foe is weak the chance of it happening is higher
@@TheTrueJevil lets just say that the curse/mudo thing has the dice rolling effect but every dice is more easier than the last Mudo has a 25% chance to insta kill if resisted having high luck(somewhere around 60+) changes it to 30-45% and if they are weak its a 75% chance,Mudoon is 45% for resist while high luck is 50-60% and if weak its around 80%,now "Die for me!" is pretty much 75% if resist high luck is 90% and weak is 95% (if the enemy has high agility the thing still misses...) added bonus that there are buffs that adds an extra 2-4% extra luck rolling (100% is not achievable as i see it...) hope its not confusing...

Ah, Alice, my favorite little girl. She remained on my team throughout Smt4 right to the true ending and is still haunting my SmtV's roster. I never got to playing Royal or Striker for that matter, so i dont recall.her being in P5, but with this knowledge.... better late than never eh?
She’s one of my final 5 demons in SMT:V, with Idun, Artemis, Metatron and Cleopatra.
In strikers she's required for Lucifer in new game plus

All these mods make me question reality.
I had victory cry on my alice plus mudo boosts to just kill anything not outright immune to curse that was fun. Plus Yoshitune, Izanagi and Satanael meant that I could walk through the game on the hardest difficultly like it was nothing.
The P5 versions of Die for me! feel the most lacking out of all of them. Even the P4 version looks cooler.
Came here to say that I'm in shidos palace and I had this attack miss 7 times in a row. I was purposely guarding with everyone else and only using this move to see just how often it works and until now its been hella consistent. Then boom 7 straight misses in a row. Idk HOW but I am currently feeling like the least lucky mf to ever exist
Correct me if I'm wrong, but bless/curse instakill chances are raised/lowered slightly based on weakness/resist. So you have a higher chance of succeeding a curse instakill if they're weak to curse, but a lesser chance to succeed if they're resistant.
I COULD be wrong, but in my experience that's how it's worked for me.
instakill will always miss in P5 unless the enemy is far below your level, or they've been weakened/damaged
Not true at all. It's a flat accuracy modified by their resistances to Light or Darkness skills. If they are weak to it, the chance for them to die is higher, and if they resist (but they do not have Null or Repel), the chances are less. Levels have nothing to do with it.@@branchy1186

The scramble one shows how popular Alice is since she's one of the few ones who has a unique showtime attack (most usually just are related to an element).

I love how SMT V give justice to demon summons! Lots of animation with voices unlike in Persona,as if they were flat spirits. But I love both games! 😘
A bit late but isn’t that the point? In SMT, Alice is a demon. In Persona, the persona is a literal spirit manifest from within a person.

It’s from the costume if I remember correctly. Different costumes on main character = different themes.
You have to equip the right costume to change to this music.

As someone who only knew everybody loved Alice from Persona 5 youtube videos, but who's never fused Alice himself - I thought her iconic "Die for Me" was gonna be as badass as the SMT V version. Such a shame it's fucking suicidal teddy bears.

Unlike the Persona series, Hama/Mudo line in SMT V only have the chance to insta kill if the target is weak to it. Otherwise they deal normal damage
Only when your weak to it, same applies to Light skills.

Iirc, it's an smt original thing and was basically her catchphrase in the older games
this is a different Alice, it on inspired on girl who died because her ESP went out of control
It's a reference to SMT and kind of Strange Journey Alice in those games asked the player if they would die for her so they made it an attack.
