Yes, they're great. Just hope they maintain them, (as in replace bulbs that fail). Just hope they maintain everything to a high standard. It's beautiful, but maintenance is key.
Hi, I’m watching your video now. So glad to see Bangkok have more parks for people who want to go for a walk or exercising it’s so wonderful. Thank you for update Bangkok.
Give it at lease two to three years for the trees to grow and all the plants, this place will be a small forest in central Bangkok. Can't wait to visit in April 2022.
Awesome video... again. My last 5 days in Thailand I stayed on Soi 10 just to be near this park, because of your and Cris' videos about it. Due to a foot injury I didn't get to walk very much of it, just the lake area and the Green Mile. I'm so bummed I didn't get to do this portion. You have opened my eyes to many cool things in BKK. Thanks for the videos.
Wow this new park sure has its appeal at sunset time ! Will definitely go for a run or a bike ride next time . Bangkok lately is really trying to push things further when it comes to parks or canals. Great !
HI Jeroen! Greetings from Rayong! Quite a coincidence to bump into you there in this park a few days ago - and it was your video that tipped me off about its imminent opening. It would be great to see you in the park again in about a year - after a few seasons - and to see what new wildlife has found its way there. It will get quite wild eventually...
Thanks so much for sharing us with the view of Bangkok. I missed Thailand so much. BTW I'm looking forward to seeing "The one" project. Is it near Silom?
I think the lady at 18.33 with the pink bag is the landscape designer of klong chong nonsi park in satorn area. Guess you encountered designers excursion on the day.
It is a forest plantation and in the water there is a guppy that feeds on the young mosquitoes in the water. But there will be a certain number of mosquitoes late at night.
The park is beautiful in general, but, in my opinion, the park designer only designs the park and cares not how difficult it is to take care of the islets in the pond, as most of them can only be accessible by boat. One can forget about using mobile machinery to mow the grass because some of the islets are too small for machine and some even too steep to stand on during grass mowing. This is crazy design flaws. Just wait until there are enough complaints from the lawn keepers for these flaws to be corrected in the future.
The small islands they build is called tree islands. The purpose is to delay the flow of water intake for containment.. And water here will in near future flow into the lake at Lumpini Park nearby as they realise that water in the Lumpini park's lake has no circulation. So this will help circulate the water in Lumoini. The lake with tree islands in this new park is not designed for any sports but only for delaying water flow that they will draw in water from the main Chao Praya river.
Unless, of course, this was intentional. Grasses over there might never gonna be mowed down for ages but instead flooded during the rainy season, killing the grass due to over-exposure to water, dead grass will then become fertilizer from which new grass will feed on. And of course, if things get a bit out of control, they can always mow them down with the good ol' machete.
Get Rich Park? There will be so much silver and gold in that park, it'll draw people from far and wide. Will Prayut officially open it? *Runs away quickly
Let's learn to separate. Did you know that Bangkok has the least green area per capita in ASEAN? for the capital It's made for everyone. and help add oxygen to Bangkok and a recreation area for everyone
@@สุทธิศักดิ์มธุรพงศากุล I'm not being critical of the park, I think the park is great. The dictator, not so much. Wow" wonderful and an amazing, such as Paradise Forest Park in Bangkok Love for travel.♥️🌹🌷
Thank Eeng, yes it is really going to be a great park.
@@globaltravelmate You are welcome Mister J, very agree 👍
Thailand is a country where one must find impressions both in food and places as well as kind people.
I love the lighting on the bridge railings which gives the garden a sci-fi vibe.
Yes, it is very nice. Also at night it will kae it possible to still use the park.
It's to "monitor" your surroundings.

I can't wait to have hour long walking around this park!
โอ้โห!เมืองไทยเรามีสวนสวยเหมือนต่างประเทศแล้วจ้า แถมอยู่ใน กทม.อีกตะหาก ใครไม่ไปเสียดายแทนนะคะ
This has become a really beautiful park. Pretty sure this will become a well visited tourism attraction in Bangkok!
Thanks for the upload!

Thanks Jeroen for the Beautiful views of the park.🎄🎄
Thanks for sharing. Imagine those views at the amphitheater and from the walking paths once One Bangkok gets built. Looks like it's close by.
Yes, the highest tower in the city will be between this park and Lumpini.
Thanks for the video, I can see my Bangkok's home from your shooting
Amazing skyline buildings contrast with the park trees.
Really beautiful 😍 brother 🙏❤️🍲
The skywalk is even beautiful at dusk time when they turn on the light
Great video thanks for sharing 👍

Haha, yes like a true jedi :-)
Very nice 👌
คืบหน้าไปเยอะ ปอดแห่งใหม่ของกรุงเทพฯ ❤❤❤

nice park !
I am arriving in mid January so I hope they allow bicycles in Benjakkti Park by that time…
I think that once it is officially opened bicycles will be allowed. But by january the connection to the Green lung will not be open yet I think.
Might be a bit hazardous on narrow pathways, (skybridges etc).
Thanks so much for sharing us with the view of Bangkok. I missed Thailand so much. BTW I'm looking forward to seeing "The one" project. Is it near Silom?
Wow! สวยครับ
Thx for ur update 😁😁😁
My pleasure. Thanks you for following ;-)
When those trees are fully grown up, it is going to be amazing. Lumpini park is very near, together they will become the lungs of Bangkok.
Definitely a park worth visiting! Added to list! #GTMTime
For sure Liro.
สวยงามมากครับ

Nice! I wanted to make a suggestion regarding to the Bangkok One :-)
Public Park is the best space for everyone.
Nice Video thanks for sharing.
bery nice place not very far from Lumpini park, i have seen that on a map
Yes it is very close. And there is a walking path that connects the both parks. ua-cam.com/video/SfRFa8668mQ/v-deo.html
Very big park!

mooie video!
Nice update. I really like the park. Will there be eating/ drinking possibilities also in the park ?
I think you can do a picnic as some points in the park.
that's beautiful! it also looks like mosquito heaven though
Haha, yes. But no mosquito's yet.
Insecteat mosquito food chain
Ok
Gonna look gr8t at night with LED Strip lighting, Wild Life in Abundance! Odd Snake or Two and maybe a few Monitors 🤑
I think in the rainy season the trees are very green.
Yes, I think next year this park will be amazing when everything is growing.
Not allowed to bring your bicycle? I thought they were constructing bicycle paths. Grateful for your elaboration
Well, I don't know either. I would love to bicycle in the Park.
Nice Walking👍
Thank you for liking!!!
the elevated walkway does not look wide enough for both bicycles and walkers.
Its quite wide.
Very nice. Thank you. By chance do you know if one can enter via Soi 4 and/or Soi 10?
You can enter from Soi 10. Walk through the second Benjakitti Park. I am pretty sure the entrance at Soi 4 is closed. But not 100%
Always choose a hotel near this park. Great escape from the madness.
Have been at the original Park from 2005 to 2018. Sheraton is right behind and it smelled like tabacco there. gues why?
Haha, yes it smelled a little before. And yes it is easy to get there from the Sheraton.
@@globaltravelmate I was told there have been tabacco plants years before
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Very good 👍 🌏
🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳
Can’t imagine how much it cost for this area.
Now, if only they can relax the “No dogs” rule so we can walk our dogs around the park, say at dusk,it would be perfect.
Yes, dogs would love this park.
if there are some flowers in the mini island
There is a part under construction that has many flowers as well.
👍❤
👍👍👍
Nice elevated walk path but i'm not yet convinced: This starts to look like a swamp. I would be concerned about mosquitos, rodents etc.
It is a forest plantation and in the water there is a guppy that feeds on the young mosquitoes in the water. But there will be a certain number of mosquitoes late at night.
Thanks for the info, I didn't know about the guppy fish !
Lumpini also has a big lake and not to many mosquitos.
Thanks for the explanation, yes having little fish in there eating the eggs will make sense. There mus also be some kind of water filtering system.
Is there a lot of snakes in bangkok, I heard someone telll me that Thailand is full of snakes everywhere.

Nobody was stupid to mow the grass on that little island. He made it wet grass, haha.
