I got lot of comments on my last video "touch focus settings for sony alpha camera" about the general focus settings so in this video I have decided to cover the sony alpha focus area settings. This video would be applicable for all the sony alpha camera models which support face detection auto focus e.g. a6100, a6300, a6400, a6500, a6600, A7iii as well as A9 but doesnt support A7sii because its an old camera model now. In this video you will get understand what all the focus area means, what they do & which one is the best focus area for which senerio. All in all you will get to know about the sony alpha autofocus setting in this video.

Hi Tarunji , how to click a group photo when 15 to 50 or more people are standing in 3 to 5 rows or layers ?? face or eye detection AF will pick up only one or few persons randomly ,, which would be sharp . while remaining people will be soft ?? I have a6400 with sigma 16 mm & Samyang 12 mm lens ( also have sigma 30 mm , Ziess 16-70 mm)

Hi Taruun, Very nice informative video. Quick question if you like to answer. "When we are shooting group dancing in wedding, what focus setting we can use. In auto focus it just keep jumping from one person to another and all performance shoot get bad. Thx
Use center focus point & try to keep that focus square on your main subject only

Kya a6400 k video mood me eye autofocus hai?
Sir i am facing a problem in focusing with sony a6400. Whenever i try to focus on a close macro object in any mode be it auto, program mode a green circle emerges on the bottom left corner of the lcd and the shutter does not responds on pressing. If i move away from the object then iam able to take the shot. What is the solution for taking close macro shot? I am using 18-135 kit lens.
There is a thing called "close focusing distance" every lens has a limit of how close it can get to a subject and achieve focus. If you go too close to your subject, and which is more then your lens limit, It will not be able to lock the focus...& Your camera will not take a photo on pressing the shutter button...thats what happing with you.

Sir in Sony alpha 6600 in India can we use NTSC it should we use PAL for you tube videos. What settings are ideal 30 frames per second...What are the pros and con. Please advice
Buddy these are region settings and these settings only matters if your content is going to broadcast TV network...for UA-cam, Instagram, Facebook and all others these region settings doesn't matter. I am using NTSC so I can get 120p frame rate option, otherwise in PAL mode you can only get upto 100p max.
