Prices are also determined by the money supply. If it is excessive, prices rise excessively. It is inflation. Central banks determine the money supply. There is no free market that regulates prices by means of an economic equilibrium. Central banks prevent it.
Money supply is important but what is problematic is Adam Smith and John Maynard Keynes type hedonistic utility of money economics
He does speak of invisible hand in economic affairs but central banks can devalue their own currency
