The school is St John's College, in Upper Houghton.
At 32.39 opposite Camblish is the ofice block where my father worked most of his life, corner of Harrison and Pritchard. I don't recognise anything though, all the buildings look very changed in 50 years!

Not as much as they say. Yes some places could be dangerous depending on time and area. Just like any country good example USA.
There is crime yes but not like U can't walk a year without noticing any as such.
Walk the right places and right time. Choose were to do night life. There are good areas and cities to enjoy night Life just as day life.

I grew up in Johannesburg. Lived in the Southern Suburbs. 1960 onwards. It's always been dangerous. My family were assaulted, attacked and robbed. Now, in 2024, my family were attacked again in their home and assaulted and robbed....thank God the women were not raped. Don't talk nonsense and try to say that the Witwatersrand is not a violent area.
