- This is the South Africa black rich Neighbourhoods never shown on media.
There are hidden paradises Soweto black Township that many of u don't know about.
Today I will take u to the middle class black Neighbourhood (Pimville). A lot of suprises there.
Will first take u to the Flats just opposite Pimville. Ordinary people living their best lives in that area though the media says a lot of negativity about this area, we will find out.
Then I will proceed to Pimville.
Will pass by Soweto Towers and experience heights diving (impressive😳) another Soweto black Township u don't see. Plent of hidden gems here.
We wil proceed to Orlando east and do some walk before taking to the busiest Bara Mall.
There I was shocked by this.
Plenty people and activities. Don't miss out 🙌
Soweto has a history, Nelson Mandela has a house and a history in this township.
Many celebrities and influencers including politicians are from Soweto Black Neighborhood .
It's a black Townships very known by history to the world by everyone yet many great sections of the township is never shown to u by media.
Hance today I am going to show u the real Soweto streets, houses and many other things that will blow ur mind.
Soweto is a black Neighbourhood located in Johannesburg South Africa.

By the way Brenda fass is from Langa CapeTown. I mentioned her as from this hood ( may her soul rest in peace)
Go to Diepkloof and see big houses built by Africans for their families!
Looking forward to visiting South Africa
U will be amazed 🙂
Pineville is definitely a beautiful neighborhood. 👍
You got that right!
Do a walk in Protea Glen, that area is beautiful
Looking forward to that
That was so good to see, many thanks for educating me!!!
U wellcome 🙂🤝
Love Pimville. Quiet and clean
That's right..
When you talk about Ghetto hood or township people who have never been here think of slums hope this opens their eyes
Exactly 😂
Only those ignorant flat head gangs who thinks our townships are slums
We know khayalitsha,Alexandra dipslot
etc etc
@victormarume990 you know the bad parts of those hoods they not all slums the are beautiful areas too in those hoods informal settlements are ussually occupied by people from neighbouring countries n people from other provinces who are still trying to get their lives together
@@akhonazasembo3016 Victor is an African they are always bitter because they don't even have such neighbourhoods at home
Come to protea Glen you will c nice houses
Will be coming. Keep watching 🤝
Thanks I walked with you in Pimville my neighbourhood I am from Kliptown.I enjoyed the trip.
🙂 thanks
Aside from the lack of asphalt roads and cement side walks the initial walkthrough area looked like what I grew up in Richmond CA, USA back in the 1960s
Oh.. i see 🤝
Oh, man. I bet California in the 60s was a JEWEL. God bless you for having that experience.
Do you know the way to San Jose?
Hi. I really like your shows n I am subscribed to your channel. But I will recommend u get all yours facts in order prior to posting. Eg the in Eldorado park. Those flats you did call them hostels. Those are not hostels but flats.
Also not the the shushuguve township walk. Some land around townships are not not run by municipalities but tribal owned land n municipalities do not service these lands. I’m just trying to assist
That's why I need u guys on the channel to build it with correct facts. People will learn a lot from what u just said.
There are many things I might not know but with u guys alongside me we can give the audience the right information
Thanks man, I really appreciate 🤝
Was generally a good video. Enjoyed watching the female slowmos😅
Thanks 😃
Welcome back to Soweto again brother have a safe touring.
Thanks brother, I did🤝
Thanks for this good content
U welcome 🤝
Iconic lokation wtih great history. Real time walking. Thanks, bro.
Glad you enjoyed it🤝
I like or enjoy seeing different kinds and shapes of walls, just nice, you can see that people have tastes not only in Pimville, even here in Galeahewe and elsewhere....
True ..
Morning and how are u to day how is my family doing cool video God be with u angles beside u love and kisses to princess and wife enjoy ur day
Good morning 🌞
I hope u well, greetings from family.
Have a blessed Sunday 💞
Good job super content and keep it up. Thank you.
Thanks 🙏
Self respecting people take very good care of their communities
True..
And they surely does not and should not hang out their clothes in their front yard.
Very nice video. Nice community.
Thank you kindly
Very unique history of Soweto which the youths fought against apartheid and injustice of 1976.
Very true..
Which has not much changed in South Africa is the use of bricks (red/yellow) in house building. And THIS is a Dutch way of house building. When you visit the Netherlands you will understand what I mean. So colonial sociology is somehow blended in. I would also think that what you show around 20:00 isn't "middle-class".
These people must have their own bigger sized business. If it would be "middle class" people with a job like public servants, teachers, small shop owners..then either there is a lot of corruption or illegal business going on there.
Thanks for uploading and sharing.
U correct, there are many public servants, teachers, lawyers, taxi owners, influencers and many in the public eye who stays in these black neighborhoods. With that ,here in South Africa wouldn't be that difficult to build such houses I believe
You're correct.
Its been a while but i believe that is Bester if it on that other side of UJ and of course you would find people being Doctors living
@@Lisolomzi_Makabanenot really ...this is stil working class, what we refere to as middle class on these neighborhoods hasn't been shown on his videos. ..there's exclusive areas where most black professionals live , and he hasn't been to those.
@@mazwideamahle4091 not really, maybe u haven't been watching my videos. Check this video here. Let me know what u think in the comments.I have been to many neighborhoods. Check this out. And there are many of this type under the channel
ua-cam.com/video/VcaYHa2j8ao/v-deo.htmlsi=giy6Tgk0KVv8vFBq
This is ghetto Supreme. This makes American ghetto look fabulous. Where do you think the term " Ghetto Fabulous." 😊
😀🙌
Pinville is the best. Makes you forget you're still in a township. Still don't understand how Soweto ended up owing Eskom the highest bill.
I wonder too.
I hope u well. Enjoy your Sunday evening 🙌
Wanyela 😂😂😂😂
The surrounding is clean, not eyesore to watch.
That's true...
It's beautiful and calm
True 😊
Use a bicycle:
1. Smoother camera
2. You get some breeze as you travel.
😃 yeah U right that might work, but considering that I am a walk channel, i will see how to mingle these two.
Should have went to the side has a mall so u would have showen the biggest mall in soweto and a free training farcility by Nike
Grand rising to the mother land Trinidad here it look jus like the Caribbean 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🖐👀
I had no Idea. Thanks. Looking forward to visit Trinidad in the near future..
Wow this different to see blacks in neighbourhood that are well off then most of the country?? God bless all to a country that has seen atrocities that should not of happened ❤❤❤
Thanks Michael 😊🥂
Pimville Kasi lam❤🤝🏾
Guys when you are in Soweto you can even forget you are in the hood.
It's quite people are very calm not what they always tell you how rough it is.
It's clean it's very rare to find dumping sides in the hood.
Take us to Diepklood extension. I promise you it can challenge Brynston .
Go to Protea as well.
Nice side walks.
Thanks for all the positive tips. Worth trying them. 🍻
The roads could be paved with pitch.
Don’t forget to check Kagiso just few kilometres from Soweto, and check hospital view
Noted🤝
The are where you first went isn't Pomville. It's a new residential area, recently developed.
Awesome. What's its name?
I love your post.... however regarding Walk Soweto, you only covered 8 to 10% of this glorious human settlement. Soweto has close to 60 sections/townships with close to 5 millions people population wise
U right ,it's big I couldn't do it all walking but have plans to cover other sections next time I visit 🤝
you should have came to orlando west
Coming don't you worry 😊
Bengizongena kuleya taxi ... Thixo!
Lol yeah neh..
Many people across the world think a township is a Slum. Some townships look way better than what is shown here. Go to the east of joburg and Pretoria townships, you would be shocked that the areas are even called townships.
Man I'm convinced South Africa is the home of the YAMS!😊😊😂😂
Lol..
❤❤
Correction we only have one Soweto no need to say Black Location everyone knows that Soweto is Black neighborhood
😃 what's Ur point. Its just those names playing Ur head my brother sorry to say.
@@Walk_AfricaBe humble to take criticism this man is right.
Next time go to Soshanguve Pretoria townships.
Coming from there very recently. Haven't u watched the video yet?
I would not mind living in the rich part if I could afford it
U right..all depends with one's pockets.
This is not a tich part
This is just the lower middle class. The rich and upper middle class are in Midrand
@@subzeromidnight5388 or Diepkloof EXT or or spruitview, but these apartheid settlements are definitely NOT rich
Invest in the township.
All classes live there but majority would fall into lower class
But is THIS what Rich part of SOuth Africa looks like..😮
Depends with what one calls rich...
No, this is a town township.
Not middle class but one would rather say its a "classless neighborhood"
Here everyone knows everyone….
That's awesome 👍
This is the rich part ?I have family in Soweto and this is far from the rich part .Dusty streets ?The good parts of Soweto have tar roads and lush gardens .
There are more richer areas in soweto far than this. But I wasn't comparing the richness of different hoods. Was just about this hood that I find rich though not richer than other hoods. Every hood has it's own taste. U should check some of my videos in different hoods different times...
That's close to my hood
Please do DAVEYTON
When I get chance I will do...
@@Walk_Africa noted
why soweto roads don't have tar/im waiting for the rich part?
Roads are done by the state in most cases but houses are done by individuals.
The rich part is the beautiful houses that I just showed u. No one can do that if not getting a stable income.
My own observations though
Do you want tar road made from gold
But this not the rich parts of black neighborhoods.
U might say that but from my observations we can't take what we see lightly. It's not really comparing rich and richer neighborhoods but to showcase different hoods as they are.
Maybe one day I might do the black Neighbourhood of Ur taste 😉
@@Walk_Africa My point is, we don't consider those rich , but there are areas designated for affluent blacks by the previous regime....those we consider rich black areas.
It's fine..let's agree to disagree on that one🤝
Pimville has zones 1 to zone 7. Section park Bester Zone 5 those are the best places in Pimville what you see for now is nothing.
Take us there you haven't seen Pimville you haven't seen a thing as yet.
Thanks, can't wait to see the area. Keep watching soon will take you there🤝
If they don't show it/stuffs then you show it/them 💯 +++! We should/must not wait for others to show/start something for us 😏 😉 😌 😎 😜 😤 ! We must try to do more individually, collectively, ..... for ourselves and stop ✋️, refrain from waiting for help, ....! But the truth is that some elements, .... stand in our way simply by bullying, sabotaging, destroying, .... all efforts 👌 💪 🙂 🙌 💯 +++ emanating, .... from our positive perspective, efforts, ....!
Makes sense...
I see no tagging on the walls. I do believe that is a Hispanic indigenous trademark.💁🏽
Oh..I had no idea .
Um no, every nation does that… has no Hispanic influence
Please do additional research on top of what you see.
I usually do. Thanks for the tip🤝
Big nyash everywhere. 😂
Why you didn't go to Maponya mall in Pimvile
Which zone is maponya mall by the way?
If you ask they will show you not from Pimville Square,is the biggest mall in Soweto I, when you are from Bara that same road is leading to Maponya
Is between Pimville and Klipspruit
@@user-tn7qd6ze1o I should visit Soweto once again in the near future..
If this a rich neighborhood, then I would the poor ones
Who said it's a rich neighbourhood? It's a middle-class neighbourhood if you must know.
Soweto has gravel.
Don't show your phone in the flats.😂
😀is it that bad
@@Walk_Africa Yes. I know that place. People get robbed while walking back from school. Be safer next time. 👍
@@FictionHubZA thanks for the tip🤝
What Afrikan nations are in Soweto? Such as tswana, sotho, Zulu or Xhosa
The ones u mentioned are tribes but are south africans. The other nations in Soweto are people from other countries as Somalia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Ghana and many other African nations. South Africa is very diverse.
U will find every nation somewhere around here..
My experience though.
@@Walk_Africa actually we divided into Nations not tribes eg Xhosa Nation (isizwe sakwa Xhosa) Zulu Nation Sotho Nation etc but when we go tribal that's prejudice
I get Ur point though I meant it in an easier way for many to understand.
Yes there are Xhosa, Zulu,Ndebele, Venda nations and all that but are made of clans and tribes.
I talked of other nationalities other than nations. Point taken
@@Walk_Africa glad that you have some understanding of such
@@Lisolomzi_Makabane 😊🤝
Dangerous Places...Tourists and South Africans in other Provinces stay away....if you dont wanna get hijacked on your fitst day😂
Are you for real 😂😂
I don't stay in Soweto, but I feel like you went there looking for criticism. Even your comment about Mandela. You should have gone to DIEPKLOOF EX , or even Orlando West , where Mandela comes from or resided. To see and satisfy yourself.
My man where is this coming . 🤷
@@Walk_Africa bro, I was checking the on video comments. Seemed like you were deeming the place inferior. Until I watched the entire video, which was fair. No hate sir.
@@tshepomatee3059 U did what some do, and that is commenting based on others comments and before watching full video.
To give best opinions it's always advisable to watch full video and then give a full hearted comment based on your thoughts. But ey, I understand it's ok bro🤝
@@Walk_Africa fact, agreed. I appreciate the hands on approach that you have on your channel. Keep growing bro.
@@tshepomatee3059 Thanks brother 😊🤝
I bet where the other houses are in the Indians and white live their is sidewalk though. I in the Uk
The rich parts looks like a prison compound with all the brick walls surrounding the homes that's not a good look and I don't see any fire hydrant on any of the streets the whole place looks dry and dusty
I guess everyone has the right to air their views as u did but I strongly disagree with u though 🤝
@@Walk_Africa am black American and I love your videos and I saw the poor black areas in the same video and I thought their neighborhood looked more friendly and welcoming than the rich areas with all the walls surrounding the homes that I could barely see I rather live with the poor people
@@user-lq4us1tc5o that makes the 2 of us..I like the way u put it now. We share same feelings on this one I guess 🤝
I think you are disappointed that Soweto looks better than you thought it was. You probably thought a township is a slum. All townships in SA look like this or better than this.
@@mrfun4540 your imagination is running wild
